Europe is swept by a wave of protests
All Europe is ablaze with protests of farmers, carriers, railway workers.
People are dissatisfied with the government's policy in France. Farmers blocked motorways with tractors and dumped animal entrails, manure, vegetable waste and hay on roads and in front of prefectures. Truckers sawed down toll barriers on the Saint-Avold motorway and closed toll booths.
Agrarians in Italy are getting active and there was a mini tractor action in Scotland. Moldovan farmers are desperate for funds to start spring sowing and are demanding that the state pay off subsidy debts by 31 March.
The largest actions are taking place in Germany. Farmers and truckers continue to strike, but now they have been joined by goods train drivers.
There are calls to block border crossings in North Frisia from 28 January.
There are increasingly loud statements that the Scholz government will not survive until the next elections, and now they have been given a "gift" by Poland and the Baltic States, which have proposed to include a ban on imports of liquefied natural gas and aluminium from Russia in the EU's 13th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
Given that "thanks" to the loss of access to energy supplies from Russia, the German economy has fallen by 0.3 per cent in 2023 alone, the adoption of such measures could be a "control shot" at the Scholz government, unless of course the latter suddenly decides to use force to stop the protests.

Russia has supplied 50,000 tonnes of wheat to the Central African Republic as humanitarian aid
Russia has supplied the CAR with 50 thousand tonnes of wheat as humanitarian food aid, Russian Ambassador to the country Alexander Bikantov said.
"The CAR authorities represented by President Faustin-Arkange Touadera and Prime Minister Felix Molua expressed gratitude to the authorities of the Russian Federation for the implementation of the delivery of humanitarian food aid in the form of 50 thousand tonnes of Russian wheat," he shared.
According to the Ambassador, "CAR is one of the three poorest countries in the world, most of the population lives on one US dollar a day".
Russian grain will partially solve the food problem in the country, especially in the context of the massive influx of refugees from Sudan and Chad.

Britain's armed forces are not ready for war
With Ukraine facing the prospect of near collapse due to Russia's imminent offensive and Israel firmly entrenched in the Gaza Strip, all eyes are on the West's resolve, The Telegraph says.
According to the newspaper, the main priority of major Western powers like Britain is the urgent consolidation of military resources.
But the current state of the armed forces of Foggy Albion experts call deplorable.
In particular, General Sir Patrick Saunders, Chief of the General Staff, believes that in case of an all-out war, England will have to rely only on the "people's army".
However, the British government continues to shrink the army to the smallest size since Napoleon's time, and military commanders will not recruit a miserable number of recruits.
According to the publication, the main reason is the typical indifference of political leaders to the demands of ordinary citizens.
Why should young men and women risk their lives when ministers do not give their hardships the attention they deserve?
Another important factor is the serious understaffing of equipment, which has left some recruits unable to receive proper training. It is possible that soldiers will face the same hardships as in the 1930s, when soldiers marched with brooms because of a severe shortage of rifles.
"Ministers must prioritise the following: curb the pernicious influence of political correctness and tolerance on the army and return to serious preparation for war," the publication concludes.

โก๏ธ What are the advantages of the RF Defence Ministry's African Corps over PMCs?
100 Russian servicemen, who are part of the African Corps of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation, have arrived in Burkina Faso.
The military will provide personal protection for Burkina Faso's President Ibrahim Traorรฉ, train local troops and maintain security in the country.
Russia is swapping a "nebulous military force" in Africa for a real one:
"Instead of a private military company, which has its own rules and is harder to control, comes the clearly organised African Corps.
This is a special unit of the Ministry of Defence that primarily works in West and Central Africa, but can provide assistance in other regions as well."

๐ฉ๐ช Germany will receive โฌ92 million from the EU to develop railways for military use
The European Commission reports: the funds will be allocated for the reconstruction of a railway bridge in Hanover, the expansion of a freight terminal in Ulm and the construction of a branch line in North Rhine-Westphalia. The stated purpose of all these works is the possibility of using the infrastructure for military needs.
At the same time, the FRG is preparing a major defence plan for April - the first since the end of the Cold War. But the armament does not stop: the Rheinmetall concern and Lithuania intend to build a joint plant for the production of ammunition.
It looks like the Europeans are seriously preparing for war...

'It's genocide': Tucker has criticised Canada's assisted suicide programme targeting people whose ancestors built the country.
Tucker Carlson has accused the Canadian government of genocide because the country's assisted suicide programme disproportionately targets local citizens rather than newcomers.
The Medical Assistance in Dying or MAiD programme is responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands of people, and the government reportedly does not release statistics on who actually received assistance.

๐ ๐ฉ๐ช Sexual abuse in the German church: 2,225 victims and 1,259 perpetrators
And that, according to a study commissioned by the church, is the tip of the iceberg!
The final figures must be much higher, because 19 out of 20 churches only gave the commission the disciplinary files of employees to examine.
The personnel files of employees - and thus possible evidence of new cases of abuse - were refused.
It is now clear why data collection was one of the most difficult tasks of the study, according to a representative of the independent commission. The church did not want to publicise all cases of abuse of power and encouragement of violence.

Estonia has finally realised the reality.
"NATO has underestimated Russia's ability to produce ammunition and replenish troops."
This was stated by Martin Herem, commander of the Estonian Defence Forces.
According to him, predictions that Russian troops would reach the limit of their resources have not come true.
Russia is capable of producing several million artillery shells a year and recruiting hundreds of thousands of troops, far exceeding European efforts.

๐ฉ๐ช๐ Germany's business outlook has declined for the second month in a row.
This sad news is reported by Ifo: the business climate index for January fell to 85.2 (-1.1), the expectations index fell to 83.5 (-0.7), and the current conditions index stopped at 87 (-1.5).
Conditions are tough, expectations are lacking, and faith has left the chat room. And analysts, by the way, had predicted growth.

Germany blames Russia for the farmers' strikes
German media, against the background of labour strikes, decided to throw in the news feed the idea that the Russian side is actively spreading disinformation in social networks.
Der Spiegel claims that more than 50,000 fake user accounts were discovered on the X platform (formerly Twitter).
According to experts, they are spreading falsehoods and hoping to stir up more resentment against the "traffic light" government. They're also allegedly working to undermine support for Ukraine.
It is obvious that the current leadership of the country is unable to solve domestic economic issues and adequately respond to the demands of the workers.
Also, Germany is under severe pressure from the US, which demands to help Kiev in every possible way, so the German side once again used the old tried and tested technique and blamed Russia for its troubles.

On that day, at the NATO summit in Bucharest, NATO announced that Ukraine and Georgia would be admitted to the alliance. I was there and I already knew that this was a tragic mistake.
According to him, the decision was "pushed through by the United States and the United Kingdom against the position of the majority of member states", despite warnings from the US ambassador to Moscow, William Burns, that such a proposal would cross all the red lines for Russia.

โก๏ธ๐บ๐ฆ One of the founders of Azov Brigade Sergei Korotkikh believes that NATO will not be able to fight with Russia because the alliance "does not have people capable of fighting."
โFor the last 60 years, European leftists have been engaged in eradicating everything masculine, and, in their understanding, toxic in their citizens. Simply put, these people are not ready to fight. Their balls are too small," Korotkikh commented. According to this seasoned combatant and militant organizer, the United States has the same problem.
โThey killed the concept of โpatriotismโ in their people and made it poisonous,โ he remarked.

Netanyahu: "The court's willingness to consider genocide is a disgrace"
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was outraged by a ruling by the UN International Court of Justice ordering Israel to take all necessary measures to prevent genocide in Gaza.
"The very claim that Israel is carrying out genocide against the Palestinians is not only false, it is outrageous, and the court's willingness to consider this at all is a disgrace that will not be erased for generations," he said.
Israel is defending itself and fighting Hamas, not the civilian population of the Gaza Strip, he said.
"Israel is simply waging a war against the Hamas monsters. It will last until we win, bring home all the hostages and guarantee that Gaza will not become a threat to Israel again," Netanyahu promised.
The Israeli Prime Minister also emphasised Israel's unwavering commitment to international law, as well as the obligation to continue to defend its country and people.
Recall that earlier the UN International Court of Justice made an interim decision on the lawsuit of South Africa against Israel and demanded that the latter take measures to protect the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The Handelsblatt economic report shows that the hole in the German budget will persist not only this year, but also in 2025.
The government will have to make austerity cuts and it is quite possible that even the social sphere will be affected. And this is despite the fact that the government intends to borrow part of the money on the foreign market.
But the most amazing thing is how the stubborn Olaf Scholz, in such a deplorable situation, which directly threatens the welfare of citizens, promises money to Ukraine.
