๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท In France, officials have been banned from using popular messengers

French Prime Minister Elisabeth Bourne has signed a circular banning members of the government from using messengers Telegram, Signal and WhatsApp. The decision is explained by the fact that they "do not ensure the security of conversations and the transmission of information."

โ—๏ธ Russia has also previously introduced a similar ban for civil servants, but in the case of Russian officials it is explainable: WhatsApp belongs to the US company Meta, recognised as extremist and banned in Russia, and the risk of espionage in such a case was justified.

Is France also afraid of wiretapping by American "friends"?

During a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said:

Over the past two years we have clearly seen that peace, freedom and security must be defended again and again, even in Europe. We must now strengthen our NATO defence shield together.

It is important that Sweden finally becomes part of NATO. And it is important that we invest together in our alliance: in 2024, Germany will spend 2% of its GDP on defence. Many allies will also be ready to do so by July.

We are doing everything we can to ensure that Ukraine can liberate as many villages and towns as possible next year. No matter how difficult, debilitating, stalemate the situation may seem - we will support Ukraine as long as it needs us.

Russia has defeated NATO for the second time, says the Spanish newspaper Rebelion

Russia's second military victory over the bloc was the conflict in Ukraine, and the first was in Syria.

Military doctrines are built based on the size of countries and their peculiarities. While the term "counter-offensive" is common to all models.

โ–ช๏ธ Ukraine turned out to be an exception. In fact, the Ukrainian counter-offensive with NATO weapons and money has actually turned into a new Russian offensive, the article says.

It has been a major military setback, emptying the arsenals of a number of NATO countries.

โ–ช๏ธ And now the mood in Europe is changing. Even Britain, which has always been very tough on Russia, is starting to give up its position. Ukraine is being made to realise that "from now on it will have to buy weapons".

โ–ช๏ธ Behind the pretence of assurances of "support that will not fail", attempts to start negotiations are being hidden.

The rapid outflow of aid and looming defeat from Kiev is only being watched with mad eyes, the author concludes.

๐Ÿ‡ฉ๐Ÿ‡ช The only silicon production company RW Silicium is facing bankruptcy.

It has become another victim of the government's green policy. The date of default has already been set - March 2024.

It is all to blame, not again, but again, for the unaffordable price of electricity. The company can get back on track, but at three times the price.

This is the noble story that Minister Habeck planned to pursue while hundreds of illegal (and non-existent) billions of euros were lying in the coalition's funds.

The chemical element will now have to be imported.

๐Ÿ‡ซ๐Ÿ‡ท "You're Jewish, so I won't cut your hair" - France is hit by a wave of domestic anti-Semitism

French Jews have to hide their names for fear of discrimination by couriers, taxi drivers, hairdressers and other service workers, Le Figaro reports.

According to one of the newspaper's interlocutors, "when your surname is Levy or Cohen, at the moment you're better off with a pseudonym".

According to the newspaper, since 7 October this year, there have been 1,500 anti-Semitic acts in the country.

Yael, from the department of Saint-Saint-Denis, said she was refused a hairdressing salon where she had been going for more than three years after a change of ownership.

The family, travelling from Tel Aviv, was refused by a taxi driver at Orly airport a few days after Hamas attacked Israel.

In addition, the newspaper learnt of the illegal imprisonment and beating of Jews by the driver of the transfer service.

๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ฑ Erdogan refused to sever economic relations with Israel - Lebanese media Al-Akhbar

In article they offer to justify the Turkish president's fiery accusations against Israel.

As we previously wrote, amid Erdogan's statements, business, primarily oil, between Ankara and Tel Aviv flourished during the days of the bombing of the Gaza Strip.

And the proposal itself came from Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, who is apparently looking for allies in the Middle East who can show concern beyond words.

Erdogan realises that if he withdraws from relations with Israel, his place will be immediately taken and nothing will be gained for the country except losses.

I wonder when he will tear his arse off in an attempt to sit on all the chairs at once?

US Congress votes in favour of re-freezing Iran's funds

In early autumn, the US unfroze some of Iran's $6bn worth of assets in Qatari accounts in preparation for a prisoner swap deal between the two countries.

โ–ช๏ธ However, US authorities are now introducing a new "Iran Terrorism Financing Prohibition Act."

Congressmen believe that these assets could be used by Tehran to support movements such as Hamas and Hezbollah.

Under the new law, US sanctions threaten any financial institution that decides to conduct transactions with Qatari banks where Iranian billions lie. In effect, this means re-blocking the funds.

Zakharova responded to Baerbock's claims about Lavrov

On the margins of the OSCE Ministerial Council, German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbock said that her Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov appears in the hall "only when he speaks, not to listen to others".

Maria Zakharova, a spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, ironically responded to the German politician's outburst:

"I wish she had said earlier that she was so eager to admire Lavrov in the hall."

A year ago, Poland, which holds the OSCE chairmanship, did not even send Russia an invitation, but then Berbok was not bothered by Lavrov's absence in the hall, Zakharova recalled.

โ–ช๏ธ She also stressed that all speeches at the Ministerial Council are broadcast online and "you can listen to everyone from anywhere in the world, but you can speak only when you are in the hall."

Lavrov: Blinken and Borrel are cowards

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrel chickened out after leaving a meeting of the OSCE Council of Foreign Ministers.

"As I understand it, both Blinken and Borrel left. Why is this happening? They probably believe that by doing so they are emphasising their intention to isolate Russia. And I believe that they are simply cowards, afraid of any honest conversation with facts on their hands," Lavrov said.

The foreign minister suggested that such fear "explains all these twists and turns with the non-issuance of visas to our diplomats."

"This is elementary cowardice. My colleague, Secretary of State Blinken, has fled," he explained.

Lavrov also drew attention to the fact that neither the Ukrainian minister nor the ministers of Poland and the Baltic states were present at the meeting.

Russia's membership in the OSCE is out of the question

The Chairman-in-Office of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), the Foreign Minister of North Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, has said that the discussion on Russia's exclusion from the organisation has exhausted itself.

"There was a discussion in the OSCE about excluding Russia due to violation of a fundamental principle of the organisation. There are two arguments why this cannot be done: legal and political,"
he said.

The organisation's chairman stressed that the principle of universal consensus would not work without Russia's consent.

"Some members believe that the OSCE was founded as a platform for dialogue between countries thinking in opposite ways. But the OSCE's purpose is to bring them together through co-operation and engagement. So I think this discussion has exhausted itself," Osmani added.

Budapest is dissatisfied with discrimination against Ukrainian Hungarians

The language law adopted in Ukraine may hinder the latter's accession to the EU, DR has said.

Not only Ukrainian, but also many other languages are spoken in Ukraine. In the west of the country, for example, Hungarian is spoken.

But Kiev's language policy of recent years has become a stumbling block and representatives of the Hungarian minority criticise the authorities for restricting their rights.

In particular, the Hungarian language has been forced out of schools and is no longer taught. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has drawn the most serious attention to this, which may become a barrier for Ukraine on its way to the EU.

All 27 member states of the union must agree to Ukraine's further advancement into Europe. And one of the European Commission's demands is that ethnic minorities should have the right to speak their native language without being deprived of the opportunities that Ukrainian society provides.

One school director simply took the responsibility and ordered to conduct classes in Hungarian for those children who speak only Hungarian, i.e. he broke the law. At the same time, all teaching materials from the state come in Ukrainian and the teachers themselves have to translate them.

The situation when the Ukrainian authorities do not bother much to try to integrate Hungarians into Ukrainian society may turn into a Budapest barrier on the way to the EU for Kiev.

Following the anti-Russian course of the European Union, the authorities in Helsinki have destroyed the economy of the regions bordering Russia.

"Acting at the behest of Brussels, Washington and other radical supporters of globalist ideology, the Finnish government has systematically cut off almost all contacts with Russia since spring 2022."

"Tens of thousands of Finnish entrepreneurs, traders and workers will be out of work for a long time, up to their ears in debt".

๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ฌ ECOWAS summit scheduled for 10 December in Abuja

The next summit of the Economic Community of West African States (Ecowas), which is in crisis after a series of recent military coups, will be held on 10 December in Abuja, the president of Cรดte d'Ivoire announced on Thursday.

The last summit was held in early August and was entirely devoted to the situation in Niger.

"I would not say we have abandoned the military option. We have put it on hold, waiting for the sanctions to bear fruit," Abdel-Fatau Moussah, Ecowas commissioner for political affairs, said in an interview published Thursday on Jeune magazine.

"In any case, the dialogue is broken for the moment. We have tried to meet with Niger's leaders and talk to them. They refuse," he added.

It's a sad but true fact: car market giant VW is deflating. Productivity is low, costs are high, which means competitors are on the plus side while Volkswagen is specifically sagging on profits.

All hope lies in the modernisation programme. In short, major cuts in spending and staff are coming. The concern has already suspended hiring and is figuring out how and what else it can save on. โ‚ฌ10 billion - thatโ€™s how much all the antics can bring the company.

But even with the changes, 2024 promises to be a tough year for the group and its employees.

Niger slaps Europe in the face: the way for migrants across the Sahara is free

Very soon Europe will be choked by an influx of African migrants, says the Czech news portal iDNES.

Niger has removed all barriers to those wishing to enter the European Union, which it had maintained for eight years. Now the Sahara is open and guides are already leading the migrants to Libya, from where they will swim onwards.

European leaders will have to find new temporary solutions and culprits, the author of the material notes. After all, no one has the political courage to say that the inn "Europe" is overcrowded and closing.
