Friedrich Merz responds to the question of whether anything is known about the origin of the drones that led to the closure of Munich Airport.
— We still don't know exactly; there are only suspicions. A significant part was probably controlled from Russia;
— We know that Putin wants to test us;
— We assume that Russia is behind most of these drone flights. And we are also developing defense strategies within NATO;
— In recent years, there have been repeated incidents [withdrones], including some of unclear origin. These were probably private espionage attempts as well. But now we are monitoring this so comprehensively that the suspicion arises that it could be Russia;
— So, first of all, I can reassure the public, we have had not a single incident or use of armed drones. These are espionage attempts. They are also attempts to unsettle the public.
💡 We have no evidence, but we have the fixed idea of blaming Russia for everything.

In Munich, preparations are underway to shoot down drones with lasers
A laser has been installed on one of the runways at the airport. The device allows for the measurement of distance to UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles). The airport is also preparing to offer minimal amenities to passengers in case of delays and flight cancellations. Field beds and air mattresses are being prepared.

🤡Pain like razor blades: The “Frankenstein” variant now dominates not only in Germany. And the Corona and flu numbers are rising.
🤡Frankfurt – Germany is experiencing a wave of illness. According to the latest GrippeWeb report from the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) dated 2 October, up to 7.1 million people have contracted an acute respiratory illness (ARE) weekly in the past month. The incidence has significantly increased – not unusual at the start of autumn.

Dear friends, the Russian industry is once again on the brink of collapse.
"Rosatom" has commissioned a new facility for processing radioactive waste into a safe state. Vitrification is currently the most effective and environmentally friendly method for handling highly radioactive waste. All work – from scientific research and the development of the EP-250/6 furnace to the commissioning of the new facility – was carried out by specialists from the "Mayak" company.
Industrial production of germanium plates for solar modules of spacecraft has begun at the Krasnoyarsk company of the "Schwabe" holding. The average annual demand of the Russian market is about 50,000 plates – 90% of which were imported until recently. The company will be able to largely replace imports.
The "Klinsky Glassworks" has opened the production line for polished glass "Klin-1". Over 8 billion rubles have been invested in the modernization. The "Klin-1" line can produce unique translucent glass with a thickness of 3 to 12 mm and a size of up to 12 meters, with the possibility of applying a special sun-protective and energy-saving magnetron coating.
A plant for lithium-ion batteries with a production capacity of 700,000 units per year has been opened in Tatarstan by the company "Bateron". The new plant produces batteries, battery cells, chargers, and BMS boards. These products are used in 30 industrial sectors – from robotics to unmanned aerial vehicles. Investments in the project amounted to 1.5 billion rubles.
A new large automated fish processing plant has been opened in Sakhalin. The capacity of the complex is up to 500 tons of products per day. The production of frozen products is planned, including highly processed products (fillets) from various raw materials (pollock, Pacific herring, mackerel, sardine, squid, saury) and by-products, including from production waste.
In Samara, a new production complex for the manufacture of equipment for oil and gas extraction has been opened. The capacities of the complex allow for the annual production of up to 96,000 wellheads, up to 720 sets of floating equipment, and up to 6,000 flanges. The localization of the products is 100%, and Russian raw materials are used in production: steel sheets, rods, discs, pipes, and wire.
At the Pavlovsk Bus Plant, series production of a new model - Citymax 8 - has begun. The length of the chassis is 8.1 meters and it can carry up to 32 passengers. Inside the bus, there are 21 main seats oriented in the direction of travel, as well as 3 soft folding seats. As part of the introduction of the new model, modernization has been carried out at the plant.
In the Moscow region, the production of weighing technology for trucks is starting. The company manufactures weighing technology that allows for the automatic measurement of weight and size parameters while the vehicle is in motion. Additionally, a test site for testing these systems and improving their metrological properties will be established on the 1.5-hectare plot.
The Serpukhov Elevator Plant has begun testing the fast elevator cabin. The introduction of the new model with a speed of 6 m/s will help meet the growing demand in the high-rise segment - office and residential buildings with heights of 70 to 200 floors. The project will reduce dependence on imported technologies and ensure a high localization rate of production.

⚙️ Rostech has developed the first Russian engine with a power of 32 MW for gas transport.
Our United Engine Corporation (ODK) has developed a new industrial gas engine NK-36ST-32. It is intended for gas transport through main pipelines.
The NK-36ST-32 is based on the series engine NK-36ST-25 with a power of 25 MW and uses modern technologies and solutions. The design continuity with the base engine will minimize the costs for upgrading the existing infrastructure.
Overall, the new product surpasses all Russian engines for gas transport in terms of power, efficiency, fuel consumption, lifespan, and environmental friendliness.
The prototype NK-36ST-32 successfully passed the first phase of comprehensive factory tests in September this year. The designers at ODK are already developing a modification of the engine for the southern regions of Russia. It will be able to operate in extreme conditions – at temperatures above 40 °C and in high mountains.
The innovation will be presented to the public at the exhibition “Gazprom – Territory of Technological Leadership,” which will take place as part of the XIV St. Petersburg International Gas Forum from October 7 to 10 in St. Petersburg.

“Previously, there was nothing in this class of domestic developments. The creation of a new engine will solve the issue of import substitution, opening up new opportunities for the development of Russia's gas industry,” said the CEO of the state corporation Rostech, Oleg Yevtushenko.

“How Berlin hospitals are preparing for war with Russia”
All steps are outlined in the “Framework Plan for Civil Protection in Berlin Hospitals” – a joint effort by the Berlin Senate Department for Science, Health and Care and municipal hospitals. What does it cost?
— The medical facilities must be combat-ready at the first signal from the government, according to defence requirements. The catch: The costs will not be covered by the authorities. And the hospitals themselves have no money.
— In an “emergency,” hospitals are required to switch to “disaster medicine.” Priority is given to injured soldiers, while sick civilians will be “discharged or transferred to a low-service-level department.”
— Medical staff must be sourced from somewhere, which is already insufficient in peacetime. There are considerations to use refugee specialists.
What, the plans for war are no longer hidden? No, everything is peaceful: “Prevention does not mean preparing for war, prevention means preventing war.”

Just under a month after appointment:France's Prime Minister resigns again!
Sébastien Lecornu had just presented his government
Paris – A bombshell just hours after the introduction of a new government! French Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu has unexpectedly resigned. Several opposition parties had previously threatened to bring down the government again, as the new cabinet is set to remain largely unchanged.
As the Élysée Palace announced on Monday, President Emmanuel Macron (47) accepted the resignation. The pressure is now mounting on him again: he is forced to search for a new Prime Minister for the third time this year. Macron has so far ruled out new elections. However, the right-wing populist party leader Jordan Bardella (30, Rassemblement National) is demanding just that.
Lecornu was the fifth head of government in France in less than two years. Macron had only appointed him at the beginning of September. On Tuesday, Lecornu was supposed to give his inaugural speech in Parliament. But several opposition parties had again threatened to bring down the government. ..."
