Tragedy in Ukraine’s Dnipro today. 12 people dead (so far) and over 60 injured.
Ukrainian authorities vary in their statements but looks like it was the part of air-defence rocket that hit the building. If that even matters.
Russian media is silent. Horrific.

❗️🇺🇸 U.S. Marine on Ukraine and world order.
Retired Colonel Andrew Milburn, founder of PMC Mozart, gave an interview after several months in Ukraine. He spoke about the situation in the Ukrainian army and the Ukrainian military's violations of the Geneva Convention on the treatment of prisoners of war. As an experienced military man, Andrew says, "It's a very, very dirty war. The Ukrainians are committing a bunch of crimes, violating all the laws and customs of warfare."
But the worst part is that they're allowed to do all this. "It's not about Ukraine, it's about the world order."
This is the opinion of a professional American military man. A new Kremlin agent?

Chevron's first cargo of Venezuelan oil after license departs for U.S.
Chevron Corp's (CVX.N) first cargo of Venezuelan crude under a U.S. license has departed from a ship-to-ship transfer hub near Aruba to its Pascagoula, Mississippi refinery. The Sealeo is scheduled to arrive in Chevron's Pascagoula refinery on Jan. 15, according to the Eikon data.
In November 26, the US authorised Chevron to resume oil production in Venezuela, relaxing the oil sanctions. Earlier, in 2018, the US sought to force the authoritarian president Nicolás Maduro from office, however war in Ukraine forced the US to conduct deals with him.
And this is what the US Treasury department said about that: “This action reflects longstanding US policy to provide targeted sanctions relief based on concrete steps that alleviate the suffering of the Venezuelan people and support the restoration of democracy”.

Hundreds of AFU soldiers' corpses in Soledar: PMC fighters collecting them all over the city
Those who refused to surrender were destroyed by assault groups. On the footage taken by the Wagner PMC fighters there is only a small portion of the corpses of the AFU soldiers who did not manage to surrender and were abandoned by Kiev in the encirclement. Each of them had a chance to save their lives. Meanwhile, Kiev's propaganda goes on feeding their people with the lie that "Soledar is holding on".

An apartment building was destroyed as a result of AFU air defense operation. Spokesman for the Zelenski administration, Arestovich, confirms this version. "The missile was shot down. It landed on the entryway and exploded," he said on air.

CO2 emissions from private jets were 4 times the average during the Davos forum in 2022
Such calculations were published by the Dutch consulting company CE Delft on the eve of the next World Economic Forum (WEF), which will be held from January 16 to 20, 2023 in Davos, Switzerland. This is an annual meeting where leading business executives, political leaders, prominent thinkers and journalists are invited to discuss the world's most pressing issues, including health and the environment.
The study says that during the event in 2022, the airports hosting the forum guests recorded 1,040 departures and arrivals, 53% of which were short-haul flights (the shortest flight during the forum in Davos was 20 km long). Analysts note that if guests took the train or car, the amount of emissions into the atmosphere could be greatly reduced.
The hypocrisy of the participants of this event is best described by the words of Greenpeace representative Klara Maria Schenk: "Rich and powerful people flock to Davos to discuss climate and inequality using the most unequal and polluting mode of transport - private jets."
The unjustified use of private jets characterizes the entire Western struggle for the environment, and indeed the whole worldview. Declaring from the stands the fight for world peace, ecology and other ideals, in reality, few people are ready to sacrifice their comfort for the sake of these goals.
The wars waged and waged by the West bring considerable income, and the struggle for the environment and against inequality has become common populism for the sake of advancing to power. At the same time, environmental issues are becoming more and more relevant every year. However, unfortunately, the number of speculators politicizing this topic is also growing. Candidates first ride bicycles to "save the environment" and then fly 20 km by plane when electoral goals are reached.
Such is the fight for the environment, such is the WEF.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro has addressed the National Assembly (parliament) with the idea of creating a political block of allies with Russia and China in the Latin American region:
"A new time is coming, a special time to unite the efforts and paths of Latin America and the Caribbean, to come closer to creating a powerful block of political forces, an economic power that will speak to the world."
Maduro also added that such a "political block" could become a "new pole of power" together with China and Russia.
"This community would share the common goals that our elder brother [Chinese President] Xi Jinping talks about: a humanity united by a common destiny. Or [building] that multipolar and multicentric world that our elder brother [Russian President] Vladimir Putin talks about," he explained.

This wonder from the USA has won the Miss Universe beauty pageant 😁
Donetsk journalist Ramil Zamdykhanov comments:
"I liked the image of the US representative in the Miss Universe pageant. It's very realistic and I'll explain why. She's all in the stars, waving her flag and smiling. But she can barely walk. She's carrying the globe on her back - that is, she owns it. But when she turns around, we can see her bare ass."
