๐ฌ๐ง๐บ๐ฆ Rishi Sunak said the UK's economic troubles will not end in 2023 because of Ukraine
"I am not going to pretend that all our problems will go away in the new year. But 2023 will give us the opportunity to showcase the very best of Britain on the world stage," the prime minister said in his video message.
The Prime Minister assured that the United Kingdom will continue to support the Ukrainian authorities despite economic difficulties, Sky News reported.
Summing up the last 12 months, Sunak admitted that 2022 ended up being a tough year for many Britons, who faced an unprecedented rise in energy prices.
Sunak also suggested that the coronation of King Charles on May 6 would bring the country together.

Germany admits impossibility of bringing Russia's economy to its knees
The Russian economy is performing well under sanctions, refuting the forecasts of European and US experts. In 2023 the anti-Russian sanctions will also not be able to bring it to its knees, as evidenced by Deutsche Bank and IMF analysts
The reason for the resilience of Russia's financial system is high energy prices on global markets. Moscow has even managed to make a profit, although export volumes have fallen.
Another favourable factor is the presence of Western companies on the Russian market. Only some left Russia, but "most stayed"; if anyone sold businesses, it was to local entrepreneurs. In addition, Russia was able to avoid a shortage of foreign goods in shops by changing suppliers and launching parallel imports.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky rejected the Christmas truce proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin that Western media called a โployโ.
"They now want to use Christmas as a cover, albeit briefly, to stop the advances of our boys in Donbas and bring equipment, ammunitions and mobilised troops closer to our positions," Zelenskiy said in his nightly video address.
Both Moscow and Kyiv has previously blamed each other for repeatedly violating ceasefires announced at earlier stages of war to allow humanitarian & evacuation missions. People both in Ukraine as well as Russia-controlled Donbass, too, were skeptical of a ceasefire as they are sure it will be violated.
Meanwhile, Ukraineโs allies led by US, also did not support the ceasefire proposal. Instead, US and Germany said they were sending armoured fighting vehicles in a boost for the Kyiv government.
The U.S. weapons package, to be announced today, is expected to include about 50 Bradley Fighting Vehicles as part of security assistance totalling about $2.8 billion, U.S. officials said.

๐ฎ๐ฑ๐บ๐ฆIsraeli media made a discovery for themselves: Ukrainians are quoting an anti-Semite
The Israeli publication Haaretz drew attention to who the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine quotes. It was a revelation to them that Ukrainian politicians quote a Nazi and a hater of Jewish people - Stepan Bandera.
An perfect example of how the actions of Jews lately does not fit with their past. Recently, for example, Israeli army reservists met with Nazis from 'Azov' and their relatives.

In Ukrainian in National radio they have instructions on how to ruin the New Years celebrations to your Russian relatives (yes your own family).
- โIf you have relatives in the Russian Federation, then here is an instruction on how to congratulate them.
- Send them and audio message telling them you learned there will be a strike in their town and they need to leave immediately, speak nice to them, tell them they need to save themselves, to run.
What kind of sick mind can plan something like that?

Along with the shrapnel Rogozin sent the ambassador a letter:
"I ask you to give the fragment cut by surgeons from my spine to Emmanuel Macron. And tell him that no one will escape responsibility for the war crimes of France, the USA, the UK, Germany and other NATO countries in Donbass."

Seoul threatens to break inter-Korean military pact
South Korean President Yoon Seok-Yeol has threatened North Korea with termination of the inter-Korean military pact in the event of repeated violations of South Korean airspace. He will consider suspending the 2018 agreement.
Yoon Seok-Yeol made the statement after a briefing on measures to counter-act North Korean drones that intruded to the south last week.
The president also insisted on creating an "overwhelming capability of responding with disproportionate measures", Yonhap reported. He called on the military to be prepared to respond and instructed the defense minister to "set up a combined drone unit within a year".
In addition to defending against North Korean missiles, they will also serve for multipurpose missions, including "surveillance, reconnaissance and electronic warfare". President Yun also called for mass production of small stealth drones.
