The Armed Forces of Ukraine constantly abandon their comrades

❗️Exclusive❗️

Vladimir Razin, correspondent of @anna_news spoke about the situation on the front line on the TV channel "Crimea 24" @tvcrimea24.

According to our correspondent, the fighters of the DPR People's Militia provide assistance to the wounded soldiers of the enemy, who are abandoned by their comrades during the retreat. One of these cases happened in the recently recaptured fortified area of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"They understood the fact that he was a captured soldier, he was unarmed, wounded, was in the enemy positions that they occupied.
That means, people have a clear understanding that a person is wounded, without a weapon and a person does not pose any threat. They take him with them, they take him away from the battlefield, they provide him with medical care," our correspondent said.

▪️According to Vladimir Razin, the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly passed by the wounded man, but none of them offered him any help.

▪️At the same time, the soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine laid in his trenches for almost two days and miraculously survived.

🔴Lavrov’s ultimatum
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov gave Ukraine an ultimatum on Monday to fulfil Moscow's proposals, including surrendering territory Russia controls, or its army would decide the issue, a day after President Vladimir Putin said he was open to talks.

Russia’s proposals on demilitarization and denazification of Kiev-controlled lands and on the elimination of security threats should be accepted in an ‘amicable way’ or the Russian Army will deal with this issue, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said in an interview with TASS. "There is a little left to do - to accept these proposals in an amicable way. Otherwise, the Russian Army will deal with this issue," Lavrov stated. "As for the possible continuance of the conflict, then the ball is on the court’s side of the [Kiev] regime and Washington, which stands behind it. They can put an end at any time to this senseless resistance," the Russian foreign minister added.

Lavrov also said that Washington is threatening to physically eliminate Vladimir Putin. According to him, Ukraine is trying to draw the United States and other NATO members into an armed conflict, counting on their "head-on collision" with Russia.

⚠️Kuleba’s plan
Ukraine’s foreign minister, on his part, said Monday in the interview with AP that Kyiv wants a “peace” summit within two months at the United Nations with Secretary-General António Guterres as mediator ‚ without Russia taking part in it. Kuleba said Russia must “face a war-crimes tribunal before his country directly talks with Moscow”.

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres is ready to become a mediator in the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine, if all parties, including Russia, agree to it, office of Guterres told TASS, commenting on the initiative announced by Kuleba.

📊Economic forecasts
Russia’s Central Bank estimates country’s economy could be revived to the 2021 level by 2025. "If the economy grows in the upper range of our October baseline forecast, then we will return to the level of 2021 sometime in 2025”, said Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Alexey Zabotkin said in an interview with RBC.

“If we compare the consequences of a structural shift and a cyclical recession, then it is noticeably more difficult for the economy to overcome a structural decline in potential than to recover after a cyclical recession. We had a cyclical decline in 2020. With a very active countercyclical policy this decline was fully compensated - even more than compensated — in 2021. Structural adaptation is a longer process, so it will take longer," Zabotkin added.

The head of the ACRA rating agency, former deputy chairman of the Central Bank Mikhail Sukhov, earlier told the media outlet that the deadline for the economy to reach the pre-pandemic level (that is, the 2019 year and not 2021-22) "is beyond the five-year forecast." He noted that during this period the economy will be seeing a fundamental transformation to counter the sanctions impact.

🇺🇦🇪🇺Ukraine’s EU bid
With the EU set to issue reports on Kyiv’s progress on sweeping out corruption and fixing the judiciary in line with EU convergence criteria, Ukraine’s advances on rule of law are swifter than expected, but it’s a case of two steps forward and one (very worrying) step back, Politico writes.

“For Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who has declared that his country’s “future is in the EU,” it is vital to maintain momentum, when he knows Kyiv’s membership faces resistance from traditional EU members, whose powers would be diluted by such a big new member”, the publication notes, recalling French leader Emmanuel Macron saying in May that Kyiv was “in all likelihood decades” from EU membership.

China-Russia relations the most important bilateral ties with neighboring countries: GT survey

More than half of Chinese respondents view ties with Russia the most important ones in terms of China's relations with its neighboring countries, according to a poll from the Global Times.

The poll also suggested that many Chinese also value the country's ties with Japan, and more and more people are attaching importance to ties with Southeast Asian countries.

The online poll, conducted between December 11 to 17, gathered 1,945 responses from 16 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Wuhan.

"The results also showed that more and more Chinese people now have a rational and more in-depth understanding of China's diplomacy and complicated international situations," said Li Haidong, a professor at the Institute of International Relations of China Foreign Affairs University.

🔴Oil price cap response
President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday delivered Russia's long-awaited response to a Western price cap, signing a decree that bans the supply of crude oil and oil products from Feb. 1 for five months to nations that abide by the cap.

Moscow banned exports of Russian crude oil and refined products to foreign buyers that adhere to a price cap. The restriction on Russian crude exports will begin on Feb. 1 and last until at least July 2023, according to the decree published Tuesday. The ban on oil products will start at a date to be determined by the Russian government, but not earlier than Feb. 1.

However, Bloomberg notes, the general guidelines avoid extreme measures that the market feared would further upend trade, such as designating a minimum price for its crude or bans on specific countries from buying Russian oil.

🧮Credit holidays for 50% mobilized
The volume of restructuring of loans to the mobilized men and their family members was two times lower than the Central Bank had initially estimated in September, Elizaveta Danilova, Director of the Financial Stability Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, told Izvestia newspaper. In total, 155,000 loans worth 58.8 billion rubles were restricted. According to the regulator, the level of restructuring is now "significantly lower than during the pandemic."

A law allowing mobilized citizens and their family members to apply for credit holidays was adopted in October. By end of October, the support measure was used by 101,500 loans worth 45.4 billion rubles, the official data states.

🗓Sakhalin-2 bid
Russian government may postpone the deadline for bidding for Shell’s 27.5% stake in the Sakhalin-2 LNG project, Kommersant reported citing sources. The reason could be that the government has not yet assessed the damage that Shell could have caused to the project, in addition, there are no firm agreements with the main shareholder of the project — Gazprom, the report stated.

Shell's share in the Sakhalin-2 project was estimated by the government at 94.8 billion rubles (Shell had already written off the $1.6 billion earlier this year). The stake can only be sold to a Russian entity, according to Russian government’s new rule. Japan's Mitsui and Mitsubishi said it will retain its 12.5% stake in Sakhalin-2.

NOVATEK, Russian LNG major who was keen on bidding for Shell’s stake, is not yet ready to make a commercial offer, the paper claimed. The Federal Agency for State Property Management (Rosimushchestvo) will collect applications until December 30, but the deadline for determining the buyer will be postponed approximately to the end of the first quarter of 2023.

💆‍♀️Battling anxiety
The need for psychologists increased by 62% in Russia throughout 2022, and the number of new clients grew by 46%, according to the study conducted by Psychodemia online school in cooperation with Alter psychologist recruitment service and HeadHunter, Kommersant reports.

The head of the working group on the psychological wellbeing under the State Duma Committee Alexey Bogachev predicts that the demand for psychological assistance will grow "three to five times". About 80% of customer requests are related to anxiety, nervousness and apathy, confirms Elena Burdelova, psychiatrist of the telemedicine service Doktis.

What wouldn't Lithuanian men like to receive as gifts for Christmas?

Socks? Razors? Stinky toilet water? Nope, mobilization notices.

That is what have been sent to Lithuanian men, EADaily reports, with reference to its own sources.

Recruitment depots - regional recruitment offices - reconcile their lists of conscripts who have served in the army.

It's a precaution against some "extraordinary circumstances".

A few weeks ago, the Armed Forces of Lithuania considerably increased the army reserve to 36 thousand recruits.

They intended to go for 50, but all of a sudden, they couldn't find enough money equipment and weapons.

European Society, or even Westerners in general, are wondering why the so called Brown continent, is full of poverty and decay, is it because blacks by themselves are simply inferior? Or do they lack the mental capacity to rule?

I'll take France for an example.

The Frenchman of today may be complaining that his country is overflowing with so called shitskins.

I remind the Frenchman that France invaded Cote D'Ivoire in 2011 to install a French puppet ruler.

I also remind the Frenchman that France invaded Gabon in 1964 to re-install a French puppet leader after he was kicked out of power by the military.

I remind the Frenchman that in Guinea, France purposefully destroyed most of the infastructure when they were withdrawing, they flooded the local banks with fake currency, therefore devaluing it, and arming militas to fight against the government, simply because the president had the thought of being independent.

I remind the Frenchman that they enacted a coup in Togo against the president who simply wished to create his own national currency.

I remind the Frenchman that the French DSGE poisoned the head of the Cameroonian opposition in Geneva because he was against a puppet president.

I also don't need to mention the senseless massacres, of how around 300 Sheikhs were shot in Chad, or, obviously, Algeria, Morocco, and Tunisia.

God has a funny way of karma, you're just reaping what you sowed.

The West a provocateur, not a mediator in the Ukraine conflict - Erdogan

Turkey took on the mediator role in 2022, and then the Black Sea grain corridor started working, the republic's president said.

"Unfortunately, the West has only launched provocations and made no effort to be a mediator in the Ukrainian-Russian conflict," he explained.

The grain corridor was conceived for preventing famine in Africa, but that was just an excuse.

In fact, African countries have received only 14% of the Ukrainian grain, while Turkey itself has received 16%. European countries have received 44% of the Ukrainian grain.

Resolving the issue of Russian fertilizer supply to global markets is now difficult and "more tense", Erdogan added.

I saw the video of a steam train a couple of days ago, but then I thought it might be a Christmas version, a usual thing for the holidays.

But as you can see in the video now, it's not a Christmas carriage, it's a standard train, only steam-powered.

This may indicate that the stock of diesel locomotives has been fully mobilised, and even steam traction is going to be used.

Here we should thank Yulia Timoshenko: during her rule almost the entire stock of steam locomotives in Ukraine's state reserve was scrapped. And there were, in fact, several hundred locomotives in storage. Now they would help Kiev a great deal, but they are no longer available. So, apparently, they will try to launch the surviving units, but that will not make a difference.

Peace formula
The Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov rejected Zelensky's "formula for peace”, calling it “an illusion”.

"Putting forward all sorts of ideas and "formulas of peace", Zelensky cherishes the illusion of achieving, with the help of the West, the withdrawal of our troops from the Russian territory of Donbass, Crimea, Zaporozhye and Kherson region, the payment of reparations by Russia, the appearance of "surrender to international tribunals," etc. Of course, we will not talk to anyone on such terms,"— the Foreign Minister said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Sergey Lavrov also accused Vladimir Zelensky of stopping the Russian-Ukrainian negotiation process that began in February "at the behest of the Anglo-Saxons." At the same time, as the diplomat noted, several rounds of negotiations demonstrated the possibility of concluding "mutually acceptable agreements."

🛡Deadlock or advance?
Fighting in Ukraine is currently at a deadlock as neither Ukraine nor Russia can make significant advances, the head of the Ukrainian military intelligence Kyrylo Budanov told the BBC. "The situation is just stuck", he added.

While Budanov claimed Russia was "now completely at a dead end" suffering very significant losses, and he believes Kremlin could announce another mobilisation of conscripts, Ukrainian forces still lacked resources to move forward in multiple areas.

This comes just a say after NYT published a report stating that “Ukrainian forces edged closer to reclaiming that small but strategically important city” — Kreminna/Kremennaya/ where fighting is the most intense at the moment and, as per pro-Russian authorities on the ground, “situation remains tense”. Kreminna is a gateway to two strategic cities, Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk, that Russian forces took under control backing summer.

🔫Cyber weapon
Russian hacker group RaHDit has revealed names of over 100 NATO officers fighting against Russia in the cyber domain, a group's member told Sputnik on Thursday.

"It is the NATO centers that are really behind the cyberattacks while employees of Ukrainian security forces and community activists act only as a cover," the hacker said. The full list is published on NemeZida website in the "Foreign accomplices and mercenaries" subsection.

The source claimed that Ukrainian hacker groups IT Army of Ukraine and Save UA "have to create the appearance that Ukrainians are doing it themselves," but NATO has "people behind their backs who show them what they should be doing, who guide them, and they often themselves engage in active activities in cyberspace."

🤡Cyber defense
Russian Ministry of Education sent a letter to the regional educational institutions on the growing danger of cyber attacks, Kommersant learned. The ministry proposes to stop allowing updates of foreign software, as well as to block foreign traffic and exclude downloading files from foreign resources. Regulators' attention to the educational segment has intensified after the pro-Ukrainian hacker’s attack on the Moscow Electronic School service, experts say. But the proposed measures, in their opinion, will not be very effective.

⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦💡 Russia's massive Missile Strike on Infrastructure Sites in #Ukraine on 29 Dec 2022 - what is known by 12:00⚡️

💥 The RF Armed Forces have launched another massive missile strike on facilities across #Ukraine.

This time the targets were not only energy facilities, but also, apparently, Ukrainian air defence position areas. Like last time, to identify the air defence position areas, they first launched decoy missiles and then engaged the targets.

Immediately after the air alert was declared, at least in the #Sumy, #Dnepropetrovsk and #Odessa regions, the power supply was cut off to try to cover up damage to infrastructure.

▪️ At least four arrivals are known in #Kiev. An industrial enterprise in the Goloseevsky district, an unidentified facility in the Darnytskyi district and a S-300 surface-to-air missile defence system of the Ukrainian air defence system were hit. The underground is out of operation in the city and the lights are partially out.

▪️ At least five strikes were counted in the #Odessa region. One of them hit an air defence position near #Aleksandrovka. The 160th anti-aircraft missile brigade of the AFU is located relatively close to #Radostnoye.

A hit was recorded at the Usatovo 330kV substation. Judging by the photo, the 330/110 autotransformer was again targeted. Explosions were also heard in the village of #Kotovskogo.

▪️ At least five blasts hit #Kharkov. Electric transport, including the underground, came to a complete halt in the city, and heating, hot and cold water was lost in some areas.

One of the targets was most likely CHP-3 near the Turboatom plant in the Nemyshlyansky district.

It is possible that the Turboatom workshops were hit. Locals reported four arrivals in that area. Last week we reported (https://t.me/rybar/42234) that the plant was operational.

▪️ In #Lvov, locals reported at least 3 arrivals, after which the city has almost completely lost power and transport is not functioning.

The sounds of flying missiles could be heard over #Ternovitsa, near where the #Yavoriv training ground, where foreign mercenaries undergo training, is located.

▪️ At least two strikes occurred in the #Ternopil region. There is a 330 kV Ternopolska substation and a repair plant in the region.

▪️ Local sources reported explosions at an unnamed facility in #Nikolaev.

At the same time, Russian troops launched MLRS strikes from the territory of #Kherson Region against #Ochakov.

▪️ Locals heard explosions near #Mirgorod in #Poltava region, where a Ukrainian Air Force military airfield and a 330kV power substation of the same name are located.

▪️ One strike hit a facility in the #Chernigov region.

▪️ There were no arrivals in #Dnepropetrovsk region, but the authorities themselves cut off power shortly before the massive attack by the RF Armed Forces.

▪️ There is no exact information about the bombings in #Zhytomyr and #Chernigov regions, as well as in Ivano-Frankovsk.

▪️ In #Vinnitsa, #Sumy and Khmelnitsky regions, air defense systems worked.

🩸Two weeks have passed since the previous massive fire attack. Apparently, this timeframe was chosen for a reason: given the general bureaucratization of the Russian Defense Ministry apparatus, this is how long it takes to refine the results, assess the consequences and plan a new strike.

Except that, as we said 👉 earlier, Ukraine has managed to adapt to such a timeframe. And if we do not start changing the approach and speeding up, the results of the fire attack will be more modest each time.
