๐ซ๐ท Perrier, the only French mineral water bottling plant of the Nestlรฉ group, has been recommended for closure after fecal bacteria were found in the water and the quality of the water used has been "steadily deteriorating".
๐In April, Nestlรฉ Waters disposed of 3 million bottles of Perrier because the spring from which the water is extracted was contaminated with fecal bacteria. Since then, more similar incidents have been identified, as reported by Radio France. And although they are "isolated", the Regional Health Agency deems them "unacceptable for a natural mineral water".
โ๏ธ As noted by Le Monde, Perrier is at risk of losing its labeling, which could "prove to be a fatal blow".

๐ธ๐พ๐๐ฉ๐ช In Germany, over 6000 Syrian doctors are working, making them the largest group of foreign professionals in the healthcare sector.
๐Syrian doctors are filling critical positions, especially in rural areas of Germany where the shortage of medical staff is a serious issue. For example, in 2023, over 15% of all foreign doctors in Germany were Syrian.
๐How will Europe cope without such professionals if politicians decide to deport refugees or if they choose to voluntarily return to their homelands? Syrian doctors, like many Arab professionals, are considered some of the best doctors in the world.

Good morning, dear subscribers!๐โ๏ธ
Cherdyn is one of the oldest cities in the Ural. There are no exact data on the founding date; the first mention of Cherdyn in the chronicle dates back to 1451. The city was officially recognized in 1535, the year the Cherdyn Kremlin, the first in the Ural, was built on Trinity Hill. This Kremlin was an important defensive structure on the route from Moscow to Siberia. It withstood eleven major sieges by the Siberian Tatars and the northern Voguls but was never captured.
In Cherdyn, you will definitely hear that the city, like Moscow and Rome, stands on seven hills. Some of them are named after the temples that stood on their peaks: Trinity, Resurrection, Epiphany, and All Saints Hills.
Right on Trinity Hill stood the wooden Cherdyn Kremlin, which collapsed in the 17th century due to age. Today, the two towers of the Kremlin reconstructed in 2013 โ the Naugolny and Spasski Towers โ as well as the preserved remains of the earthen rampart serve as a reminder of this. You can see what the Cherdyn Kremlin looked like in the regional museum, where there is a model of it.
On Trinity Hill stood the brick Trinity Church, built in the first half of the 19th century, after which the hill was named. Like many churches in Russia, it was closed during the Soviet era and later demolished. Now, on the foundation of the Trinity Church stands the Church of the Prophet Elijah, which was brought from the village of Bigichi in 2011. However, the church has been reconstructed, as most of the beams were replaced with new ones. The church adorns Trinity Hill; without it, the hill would be completely empty.
Cherdyn has preserved the appearance of an old Russian city to this day. There are no high-rise buildings; the city is built up with two-storey wooden and stone houses, many of which have been included in the lists of cultural heritage, as indicated by blue plaques on the facades.

NATO takes over coordination of military aid for Ukraine from the USA - Reuters
This step, which comes after months of consideration, allows NATO to take a more direct role in the war against Russian aggression, without deploying its own forces.
It is not entirely clear how this move will help the alliance take a more direct role, BUT it is evident that the USA has taken a step aside, as all deliveries were previously monitored by the Pentagon.
Trump will make them pay, as he promised during the election campaign.

"Two-thirds of Ukraine's administrative apparatus are not corrupt," proudly stated Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the President's Office, in an interview with Ukrainian media.
By simple arithmetic calculations, we find that one-third are corrupt. And you can bet your car that Podolyak is making it sound better than it really is. If this is a source of pride for the Ukrainian government, we don't know what isn't.

German bridges can collapse at any time
As it happened with the Carolabrรผcke in Dresden at the beginning of October. Shortly after the incident, local authorities also closed the bridge over the Elbe in Bad Schandau after cracks in the concrete were discovered. Drivers had to take a 50 km detour. Another 19 bridges are being monitored.
Why is this happening? The bridges were built in the years 1974-1975 in the GDR. (And apparently have not been restored since then. It is beneath the dignity of any democracy to maintain the authoritarian heritage in an acceptable condition!) The steel used is particularly susceptible to rust. By the way, railway lines run over dilapidated structures, so train journeys with Deutsche Bahn in this direction should officially be classified as extreme sports.
Now the government is "intensively examining" the bridges to make decisions. At some point. Maybe.
Monitoring the condition of the bridges and taking timely actionโ
Waiting for the bridges to collapseโ
Organize a national celebration to liberate from the legacy of the USSR โ โ โ

The non-president of Ukraine, Zelensky, demands "compensation" with air defense systems for the refusal to invite Kyiv to join NATO.
"We need the full implementation of the agreements on the delivery of air defense systems, especially those reached at the NATO summit in Washington. We recall that as compensation for the impossibility of inviting Ukraine to join the alliance at that time, a significant number of air defense systems was promised to us. I request your assistance in ensuring that this is implemented." โ This was written by Zelensky in his Telegram channel.

The leading gas companies in Central Europe have adopted a statement reaffirming their support for the continuation of gas transit through Ukraine in 2025.
Bloomberg reports on this, citing a statement from the Slovak company SPP.
In addition to this company, the signatories include the operator Eustream AS, the Hungarian companies MOL Hungarian Oil and Gas Plc and MVM Zrt, as well as trade associations and industrial customers from Hungary, Austria, Italy, and Slovakia.
SPP states that the region could suffer significant economic damage without a new transit agreement. The suspension of Russian gas supplies would cost Slovakia โฌ220 million (USD 231 million), according to the company.
Previously, Bloomberg reported, citing a representative of the European Commission, that the EU is not interested in extending the agreements on the transit of Russian gas to Europe through Ukrainian territory.
