The Black Sea. The US interests in action.

"That war in Ukraine has a great deal to do with the American intention to push NATO into Ukraine, and across the Black Sea, into Georgia. And this is another narrative that the United States doesn't want the people to know or understand, but it's the reality,"- Professor Jeffrey Sachs

The US, amid tense relations with China, is planning to deploy up to six nuclear-capable B-52 Stratofortress bombers to an air base in northern Australia, Reuters reported with reference to a source familiar with the matter.

In that regard, imagine if China or the Russian Federation did something similar in Venezuela, for example? What would happen?

Not only Turkey, India and China, but Brasil, Belgium, Spain and even the Netherlands along with Japan have increased the trade trunover with Russia since the beginning of the war.

And according to the publication, Belgium is ahead of China in terms of turnover growth (+81% vs +64%).

India (+310%) and Turkey (+198%) became leaders in increasing the turnover.

As we can see, the whole world is against Russia. It's a pity that nobody wants to publish a chart of the trade turnover between Zelensky's Ukraine and other countries...

At a landmark in Transcarpathia, the Ukrainian authorities have replaced the Hungarian symbol of the Turul bird with the trident.

The decision of the Ukrainian authorities became known a couple of weeks ago, at which time the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry claimed it a provocation.

Andriy Baloga, Mukacheve's mayor, said bluntly: "Today the history of a new Ukraine - strong and indestructible - is being created on our land". The fact that the history of the "new Ukraine" is being built on the destruction of Hungarian history is obviously of no concern to anyone.

🌾🔴Putin at a meeting with Russia’s Security Council said the grain corridor is on from today, and if Kyiv violates the deal again, Russia will supply the same quantity of grain to the poor countries FOR FREE

Key points:
🔺Ukraine used the humanitarian corridor to attempt strikes on the Black Sea Fleet

🔺Moscow demanded guarantees from Kiev that there would be no more attacks, the Turkish partners acted as an intermediary.

🔺Russia reserves the right to withdraw from the grain deal agreements if Ukraine's guarantees are violated

🔺46% of the grain transported via the route went to the EU countries. If Ukraine violates the agreement & Russia withdraws from the deal, Russia will provide the same amount of grain supplies for free.

🔺Russia will not prevent Ukraine from supplying grain to Turkey in the future

The Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement on the prevention of nuclear war.

The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the five nuclear-weapon states (in addition to Russia - the United States, Britain, France, and China) to abandon "dangerous attempts to infringe on each other's vital interests," which could lead to catastrophic consequences.

A statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, "On the Prevention of Nuclear War," says that the primary task for Russia is to prevent any military clash between the nuclear powers.

It notes that the use of nuclear weapons by Russia, in accordance with military doctrine, is possible only in response to aggression with the use of weapons of mass destruction, or aggression with the use of conventional weapons, when the very existence of the state is threatened.

⚡️⚡️ Key updates on Russia and #UkraineCrisis as on November 3

🔴Countering sanctions
As Kommersant has learned, Russian parliament is considering creating a register of “unfriendly copyright holders”. It is proposed to include companies that support sanctions against the Russian Federation, regardless of the type of rights — foreign film studios, publishers, and software developers can get there.

On the basis of the register, the Special Commissioner for Intellectual Property Rights under the President will have the right to apply for compulsory licensing of products unavailable in Russia. Industry players and experts fear that such a mechanism will increase piracy.

☎️Do like Erdogan
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan highlighted the importance of diplomacy at the leaders' level, as he said more extensive steps would be taken regarding the Ukraine grain deal soon, Daily Sabah reported. Speaking during a live TV broadcast, Erdoğan highlighted the importance of "personal relations," to bring "the most important steps" in diplomacy.

“I called Putin yesterday and Russia opened the grain corridor at 12 noon today. This is called leaders' diplomacy,” he was quoted by the publication as saying.

While referring to Tuesday's phone call with his German counterpart Olaf Scholz, Erdoğan noted that “Even German Chancellor Scholz had completely different stance on Putin month ago and has changed his stance on Russia, emphasizing common ground”.

Meanwhile, the functioning of the sea corridor for the export of agricultural products from Ukraine has been fully normalized after negotiations with Kyiv and Moscow, Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said.

🚫No biolab investigaition
The UN Security Council has rejected a Russia-drafted resolution to establish a commission to investigate joint military-biological activities of Ukraine and the United States on Ukrainian territory. Russia and China voted in favor of the resolution. The United States, UK and France opposed it while 10 other UN Security Council countries abstained.

"We are extremely disappointed with the fact that the Council failed to employ the mechanism of the Convention on Biological and Toxin Weapons today. It states that each member-country of the Convention obliges to cooperate in any investigation that may be carried out by the Security Council in accordance with the provisions of the UN Charter on the basis of a complaint received by the Council," First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said at the UNSC meeting on Wednesday.

Earlier, the UN Security Council rejected the draft resolution readied by Russia, which suggested setting up a commission to investigate the activities of US biological laboratories in Ukraine.

🚦The lull before the storm
Pro-Russian administration of Kherson region on Wednesday announced it will temporarily stop the movement of civilian vehicles through the Dnieper due to increased military danger and increased threats to civilians (earlier, the authorities said civilians’ evacuation was completed). The temporary ban applies to river taxis, barges and other water vessels. The pontoon ferry also stops working. The ban does not apply to vehicles of public utilities and companies engaged in the transportation of food and medicines.

While many officials and military analysts expect Kherson battle to be the most crucial and devastating, so far most of Ukraine’s attempts for advance have been repelled by the Russian armed forces that are also advancing in the Bakhmut, Avdeevsky and Novopavlovsky directions of Eastern Ukraine.

Russian woman who danced Kalinka on May 9 in front of Ukrainian protesters in Berlin, disappeared after raids in her home 🔥🇩🇪

Yulia Prokhorova, who became famous after May 9, when she danced Kalinka with the Russian flag at a pro-Ukrainian rally in Berlin, stopped contacting her family and friends since October 14. On that day, police raided her home.

3 days later, the chat-admin of her Kremlin Valley channel wrote that Yulia was facing 10 years in prison, and then closed the comments. The Landshut Prosecutor's Office website posted a note that Prokhorova was accused of "supporting the aggressive Russian war."

Her relatives suggest that Yulia may have been in custody all this time. A similar story happened earlier with independent journalist Alina Lipp, who is being prosecuted on the same charges as Yulia: the girl faces 3 years in prison.

🔔Today Russia celebrates National Unity Day. Somewhat a weird holiday, not fully understood by Russians, suddenly makes much more sense in the current circumstances of Russia’s stand-off with the West.

For over 80 years, the people of the USSR and later Russia have celebrated the October Revolution Day on November 7.
It was a public holiday in the Soviet Union and other Soviet-aligned states commemorating the success of the 1917 October Revolution (November 7 corresponds with the old style calendar October 25 — Russia has adopted the Gregorian calendar only in 1918 after the Bolsheviks seized the power).

In 1995, President Yeltsin reestablished a November 7 holiday to commemorate the liberation of Moscow from the Polish-Lithuanian Army in 1612 — and since 2005, this is celebrated on November 4, while November 7 was made just a “memorable date” with no grand celebrations.

Liberation of Moscow from “foreign invaders” end the Time of Troubles (“Smuta” in Russia), a period of political crisis during the Tsardom of Russia which began in 1598 with the death of Fyodor I (Fyodor Ivanovich) the last of the Rurik dynasty) and ended in 1613 with the accession of Michael I of the House of Romanov.

In 1613, after the Time of Troubles, the Romanov dynasty began its 300-year reign. In 1649, the second Romanov tsar, Alexei Mikhailovich, established Oct. 22 as the Day of Commemoration of the Deliverance of Moscow and Russia from the Poles in 1612. According to the Gregorian calendar, which Russia later adopted, this date falls on Nov. 4, now National Unity Day.

Veseloe village to the North-West of Donetsk has been on the front line for 9 years already.

Donetsk airport is there, which was the target of heavy fighting in 2014-2015, on one side, and Pesky settlement, which was recently taken by Russians after 8 years of fighting, on the other side.

There are Ukrainian positions within 2-3 kilometers. The village is under shelling almost every day. But about 60 families and single old men still live here.

The chief of the Veseloe village Vasily Michailovich spoke about the situation.

We were walking with him about the village, accompanied by the sounds of an artillery duel. Another civilian perished here again in August.

“It happened at 6 in the morning. He was burning dry grass here. He died immediately. The whole left half of his body was torn off. It was awful to look at! My soul was frozen! Because of all the barbarity which Ukraine does. We have no militaries here. What do they kill us for? Because we were Ukrainians?... Never mind, we are going to be living in a different country, maybe it will stop then?!”

NATO supplied blood for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in which HIV and hepatitis were found

This is reported by the Mash Telegram channel with reference to data obtained by Kombatant hackers from the archive of Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal.

Biden suggests voting for Republicans is a threat to democracy

President Biden urged Democrats on Wednesday to show up at the polls during next week's midterm elections or "allow the dark forces that thirst for power" to chip away at American democracy.

Biden urged a crowd of supporters at a Democratic National Committee event inside Union Station in Washington, D.C. not to take the election for granted. The president argued that Democrats had to show up at the polls because Republicans could not be entrusted with political power.

"We're facing a defining moment," said Biden. "We must with one overwhelming, unified voice speak, as a country and say there's no place for voter intimidation or political violence in America."
