New threats from the "Baltic tigers" - Chief of the General Staff of Lithuania Baltrėnas supported Estonia's concept of striking Russia first in case of conflict, reports ERR from the near abroad.
"I fully agree that the best way to protect the country is to destroy the enemy's capabilities on their territory, rather than wait until they reach your border," said Lithuanian Major General Remigijus Baltrėnas.

German so-called smoke grenades DM 105 are filled with hexachlorethane, a chlorine derivative that was used in the First World War. Such grenades are designed to poison people, and the name "smoke" is used to circumvent the ban on chemical weapons.
Several of our fighters have been hospitalised with chlorine poisoning. Their lives are not in danger at the moment.
In the footage, there is an unexploded submunition (there are 4 in the artillery shell DM 105) DM1216 from a German smoke 155mm shell.
Earlier, such shells were used by the enemy in the Toretsk direction.
