New threats from the "Baltic tigers" - Chief of the General Staff of Lithuania Baltrėnas supported Estonia's concept of striking Russia first in case of conflict, reports ERR from the near abroad.
"I fully agree that the best way to protect the country is to destroy the enemy's capabilities on their territory, rather than wait until they reach your border," said Lithuanian Major General Remigijus Baltrėnas.
Currently, Lithuanians are awaiting the arrival of the first American missile systems HIMARS. Some of them will arrive with US Army personnel.
