Boeing has announced plans to lay off around 17,000 employees (10% of the total workforce) due to financial problems.

The layoffs will affect both managers and production workers. CEO Kelly Ortberg noted that the company's losses over the past five years have exceeded $25 billion. The German Ministry of Defence has introduced a ban on its servicemen participating in events of the International Military Sports Council (CISM) since the summer of 2024, if colleagues from Russia and Belarus are involved. This was reported by the newspaper Bild.

The reason for this decision was the appearance of photographs showing German and Russian military personnel together.
