Lithuania is preparing to evacuate by sea in case of war with Russia and Belarus - reports the publication Delfi.lt
Recently, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Lithuania, Agne Bilotaite, visited the port of Klaipeda. What she needed at the port was not immediately clear to anyone. Until the port director, Algis Latakas, suddenly blurted out that the Baltic country is preparing to evacuate by sea in case of danger. However, not everyone will be able to sail to Germany or Sweden - the country only has 11 ferries and many smaller vessels, which will not be enough.
From the same statement, it became clear that Lithuania is seriously considering handing over its territory to NATO for a war with Russia and Belarus, while the Lithuanians themselves want to wait it out somewhere quieter. Moreover, Lithuania, following in the best traditions of Albania, has also started building bunkers for those Lithuanians who will not wait for the ferries - so far their number is considered unsatisfactory, only 38 percent of the population.
