Pepper-Based Tear Gas
The goal of the experiment was to test whether capsaicin can be effectively sublimated.
I took 20g of the mixture of ammonium nitrate, sawdust and engine oil from my video about a colored smoke bomb (https://youtu.be/-kbZo1d8n_0?si=p1rnBQEUf3QQYIYm) and mixed it with an alcoholic solution containing 5g of capsaicin, which was extracted from a Carolina Reaper pepper. See the article: https://www.spkx.net.cn/EN/10.7506/spkx1002-6630-201024027
I dried the solution. I took less than half a teaspoon, wrapped it in foil, and ignited it. The result exceeded all expectations. The smoke was extremely acrid, instantly causing chest pain and a severe cough. After a few seconds, I started to panic and left the room. I was very surprised by the effectiveness. This little thing made the entire room uninhabitable for a while. I think instead of pure capsaicin, a commercially available extract with 10% or 20% capsaicin could be used. I should check that.

Article for those who need cheap vacuum in the lab. And on pictures in comments you can see my implementation of this article. Unfortunately cheap 50W pump didnt worke for me and I had to use more powerfull 100W pump that is not that cheap.

Оффлайн база данных предназначена для поиска методик синтезов химических соединений в основном в старой советской литературе
практикумах также и в некоторых англоязычных изданиях, поэтому в основном предназначена для русскоговорящей аудитории.
Offline database, a specialized tool for sourcing chemical synthesis procedures, primarily from vintage Soviet literature, lab manuals, and selected English-language publications.
Pro Tip for Non-Russian Speakers: Once you locate the relevant PDF or image files for a procedure, you can upload them to an AI tool like Gemini. It can perform OCR to translate the synthesis into English for you.
Instruction is in Readme file
download from google drive:

Synthesis data base from previous post. Since google has strict limits on upload I uploaded all in telegram. Also created torrent file if you want to use torrent. Don't leave the seed please, it will help others to download.
Read instruction in readme file to make everything work.
Enjoy.

Spresi database with 2.5M reactions + bonus
another database with 220 000 reactions
Both are very powerfull.
Everything you need to know is in readme file.
Video is comming, i could do it faster, but because of f***ing russians I have electricity only 4 hours per day, Its hard to do anything in such conditions.
If this was useful, you may support me:

Hey everyone! It’s been a while since my last post. I've been working hard on a new project, and it's finally ready for a test run:
https://openchemdb.com
Remember those databases for DataWarrior I shared a while ago? Now you can use them directly through this website! No more downloading or installing anything — everything is available online. Go ahead and try searching for something!
Journal database (Sprezi): ~3 million reactions.
Book database: around 50k reactions.
Bonus: If you register, you’ll get your own personal electronic lab notebook (ELN) — a private database where you can store your chemical experiments, complete with structure search capabilities! I already use it to store mine.
Note: The service is currently in beta testing, so bugs are expected, and 100% stability isn't guaranteed yet. Right now, it’s mostly a UI for my two databases, but the long-term plan is to build something much bigger: a community-driven, crowdsourced database. This takes time and thorough testing, so stay tuned!

A couple of updates regarding my project, OpenChemDB:
First, I’ve released the full database dump and updated the deployment instructions. You can now host OpenChemDB locally on your machine, complete with two databases containing 3 million and 50k reactions. Head over to my GitHub repo to check it out, clone the project, and download the DB dump!
https://github.com/sslavasha01-oss/OpenChemDb
Also, I wanted to share another great resource—the Open Reaction Database (ORD), where you can search for chemical reactions as well. The UI might feel a bit clunky since it’s designed primarily for chemoinformaticians rather than bench chemists, but it’s worth noting. Their dataset is slightly smaller—around 2 million reactions—but high quality.

Now, here’s the bad news: Russia has been heavily targeting our infrastructure for the past three weeks, including hits on provider data centers. My project is self-hosted, so if my provider’s data center gets hit, OpenChemDB will go offline for an indefinite period.
Here are my recommendations:
1. If you keep a log/lab notebook on my server, back it up using the export feature. That way, you can always deploy the project locally and import your data, allowing you to keep working on your computer just as you would on the website.
2. Deployment instructions are available on my GitHub: https://github.com/sslavasha01-oss/OpenChemDb
