(I'm more worried about revolutionizing his design again, which I feel like it's both a stretch and unnecessary, but it sounds good and i hate this feeling lol)

I don't know if this is good or not, but I kind of don't feel bad that I didn't art much this month?

I did work on that expressive profile picture, and in the background I finished my Minecraft model, but sadly I didn't have much time to properly art. I have scheduled lots of stuff, got a few profile pictures to do, finish a comm, work on the WG sequence, as well as the raffle winners, but I do want to give them some proper time.

While I do have exams and projects to get rid of I feel more proud in getting rid of exams and still doing something art related during the month than just trying to rush and hurting myself in the meantime.

I hope yall don't mind me taking my time this time, last year has been a mess, but I hope I can take it easy a bit more while doing what I love

Also, I kind of want to just share stuff and thoughts here if you don't mind. Idk feels boring to just publish art and just never really connect properly with yall. At least here in this little corner of the internet I'd like to just be a little more talkative, puter yapper :3

I have this mild feeling of sketching how N3X1 would collect fat on his legs.

He doesn't really have normal Synth legs, as well as not having normal digitigrade legs, so I figured that it'd be nice to study how this would work.

His legs are designed to be stompers, they are made to support his own weight. On the back of his feet in fact he has pneumatic muscles, given that he is fat by default.

Eventually his legs will fail to support the weight, which would require him to use an exoskeleton to push his mobility a bit further.

His legs can also collect data tissue, and as yall saw from different artworks, the base of his feet, he doesn't really gain weight (and gets engulfed easily)

I might draw this while I'm busy with everything else :3

It makes me so happy that you guys and friends all consider my goober to be unique and recognizeable. It was the point all along to do so, and the fact that it is such an important part of him shows that our blubberbyte is the way it is, because he is the way it was designed, and I shouldn't feel any remorse in my choices, especially being a love project from the very beginning.

However, this is related to the last message and this, I'm going to play with his legs design instead. I want to clean that part to be a bit more soft so that it matches his design, as well as figuring out how soft it can be by making it fat exactly like I said.

This isn't an outright announcement of a redesign, and I certainly won't do that now, but I'll sneak in things in drawing to get a feeling on how I really want him to be.

But you may see some different things in that fat legs study sketch I'll draw up soon :3

Turns out there are a couple more things I'd like to change for the goober. I'll just talk about it here and sneak any changes in artworks just to test things out ;3

I'd love to make his belly be entirely dark purple, meaning that moobs would be part of the belly tissue (in other words, you *could* lift them up like this :3) and they'd have seams like the belly too, which fits more the dragon aspect.

Another aspect would be the dark purple color, which I noticed is a bit too dark, and it makes things a bit hard to read, so I'm changing a few shades.

I'm finishing the leg study and you'll see what the new leg looks like: he's still a stomper, but it has a proper digitigrade leg now with feetsies, calf and thigh :3

God this exam session is exhausting, but at least with the furcon at Novegro and a few other things it isn't that bad. Bit of a shame I can't dedicate more time to art.

Although as far as I'm seeing none of you really mind... You seem to like my experiments and more laxed uploads, and I'm thankful for that. That leg study reached so many people it's insane...

Just know that I do have a few things planned, you already know about the uploads for the raffle winners (and I may or may not select someone else at random from there just for funsies OwO), the weight gain sequence, and I've got a loooong comm to take care of still. I also asked a certain green dragon for some feminine practice, so I'll practice some gals soon :3

I'm really coming to a close with University, I *really* don't want to fuck it up, nor use more time on it, so this year I'm focusing on myself a lot more.

I still appreciate the support, sorry for taking a lot but I want to keep priorities in place this year.

I'm not sure when I'll open back up for comms, but I hardly see me opening for those anytime soon, maybe this summer.

Finally done those two exams I've been preparing for so long, passed one of them and waiting for the other, but at last I *finally* have some time that I can dedicate to arting again. I think I'll just use today to draw lol

I've also been itchy to draw N3X1 fat again, so to get back into the flow I might draw one of the ideas I've had in the backlog for a while.
I've been very tempted to sculpt the goober's fat cheeks and just make a new expressive PFP with him very somft, but I've got a few PFPs to do first x3

Currently in a bit of a limbo between everything so I'm struggling to do stuff.

In good news, i started storyboarding and thumbnail sketching the WG drive, which I'd like to make into some sort of comic which may/may not contain a few panels (to emphasize, too :3). It's gonna consist of 6 parts, and pretty much represent weight stages up to his maximum size.

This year is probably going to be the busiest year as I'm attempting to finish every exam I have left, so while it might suck a little, this is going to take a while. I might draw something else between each panel

I'm gonna experiment with him a bit more before going crazy on a new ref, as I'd like him to reflect myself even more. I was thinking to potentially make him have a bit more thicker legs just like I have IRL, so while not being bottom heavy, he's gonna be wider overall (and I doubt any of you don't like the idea~), which could mean more stuckage too :3c

I do have a shitton of art projects to keep up with but I need to vent with it a bit x3

Also, I'll try to draw more intermediate stages in the future. I realized that in the past it's either normal size or immobile lol
I'm a fan of immobility but sometimes the process of getting there is also fun :3
