Hey everyone, for those that are new on this channel my name is Delight, founder of Nexa.

I know you guys haven’t really heard from me for some time now, and I’m sorry about that.

I’ve had a lot going on personally that pulled me away from working consistently on Nexa. I’m currently in school right now (even though it’s online), and I have back-to-back exams coming up, so it’s been really hectic. I won’t even lie — I didn’t expect I’d be in school at this time, but here we are.

Because of that, growth on Nexa right now is honestly slow.

And apart from school, I’ve also been trying to build a proper founding team — especially on the technical side — to help properly develop and eventually build the mobile app version for everyone to use.

On top of that, there have been a lot of issues with the current web app. I originally built a lot of it in a very rough way, so there’s been a lot of technical debt. I’ve had to sit down and gradually debug and refactor a lot of things almost from scratch, which has taken a lot of time as well.

So overall, development right now has been really slow and honestly quite hectic.

I’ve also worked with different people during this period — some didn’t work out, some left — so even the team-building side has been challenging.

But regardless, I’m still fully committed to building Nexa.

Now, something very important.

Nexa is something I’m building in public, and I want it to be community-driven.

That means your feedback, your support, and your suggestions actually matter a lot — because at the end of the day, this is for you guys.

But there’s also a major challenge we’re facing right now:

👉 Nexa only works properly when there are a lot of students on it.

We need real activity, real people, real interactions — that’s how the platform becomes valuable.

For example, if students from a particular school (like Covenant University) are on Nexa, we need a good number of them there so you can actually:

• discover each other
• connect
• buy and sell
• find opportunities
• know who is who

Because right now, campus is actually an undervalued network.

Most of the time:
we don’t know who is who
we don’t know what people do
we don’t know what people are building or selling

And that’s exactly the gap Nexa is trying to bridge — not just within your school, but across different universities as well.

So I’ll really need your help here:

If you can, share Nexa in your school group chats, post it on your stories, and invite other students to join the waitlist and the community.

That’s how we make this actually work.

Also, we’ll be opening opportunities for some of you to become Nexa ambassadors, where we can work closely with you to grow Nexa in your school and even partner with your student communities.
