Built in 1907 to connect the laundry of the New York Hospital House of Relief to the third floor of two adjacent buildings, this suspension bridge has become one of the most popular landmarks in the city.

The building with the address 60 Hudson Street was built in 1893 and was the location of the emergency room. 14 years later, the second building with the address 9 Jay Street was built and the two were connected at the 3rd floor level by this beautiful skybridge.

Both buildings have now been converted into residential lofts and luxury offices.

Because of its spectacular appearance, the Staple Street Skybridge has been used as a filming location for many movies and television series, including Spider-Man: Homecoming, Billions and Elementary.
