Səfər dəstimizdə 1990-cı illərə göndərmə var. 1998/99 mövsümündə finalda “Şəmkir” üzərində qələbə qazanan “Neftçi” qara üfüqi zolaqlı sarı formada Azərbaycan kubokunu başı üzərinə qaldırmışdı. Yeni dəstlərimizdə də məhz həmin formanın cizgiləri özünü aşkar göstərir. Sarı rəng şəhərimiz üzərində il boyu parlayan günəşi, qara rəng isə adımızı da götürdüyümüz nefti simvolizə edir.

Our away jersey references the 1990s. In 1998/99 season, “Neftçi” won the Azerbaijan Cup after defeating “Shamkir” in the final in a yellow jersey with black horizontal stripes. New jersey prominently features the design elements of that iconic jersey. Yellow color symbolizes the sun that shines over our city all year round, while the black color represents the oil, which is also the source of our name.

Colors and elements of our alternative jersey are inspired by two factors: jersey “Neftçi” wore in 1979 Soviet Top League and the deep blue waters of the Caspian Sea, which are inseparably connected to our team, reflecting the shimmering lights of Baku Bay, where our beloved city is nestled.
