Solution => suppose initial moles of AB gas to be 'Y ' moles
Now P (initial) = Y RT/V = 500mm
Now out of y moles ,suppose 2x moles become 2x moles of A and x moles of B2 gas.
Now in such questions you have to balance the equation. As equation is already balanced.
Using Dalton's law,
Total pressure is equal to partial pressure of all gases
=> Total P = P (Y -2x) of AB + P (A) + P( B2)
Total P = (Y-2x)RT/V + 2xRT/v + xRT/V
625 = YRT/V - 2xRT/V +2xRT/V +xRT/V
We already know YRT/V as the volume is constant, = 500 ,
625 = 500 + xRT/V
So xRT/v = P (B2) = 125
P (A) = 2x RT/V = 250
P (AB) = (Y-2x) RT/v = 500-250 =250
Now use formula of Kp
Kp = P (A) ^2 Γ P (B2) ^1/ P (AB) ^2
= 250^2 Γ125/250^2
= 125
Now P (initial) = Y RT/V = 500mm

For phyics my recommendations for neet
1) Read notes of any coaching Institute by good teacher.
2) Solve assignements given by teacher or at last page of Institute booklets
This is enough to score average marks
For high marks =>
3) For conceptual clearing solve HC verma and clear doubts
4) For mcq practice, Use New pattern iit jee physics . It has 100-200 mcqs from every topic. If you solve all those questions. Your high marks in physics are guaranteed π

A motorboat going downstream overcame a raft at a point A;
T = 60 min later it turned back and after some time passed the raft
at a distance 'L' = 6.0 km from the point A. Find the flow velocity
assuming the duty of the engine to be constant.

Should I start a series where we will solve whole HC verma (or any other book)from beginning to last? Vote yes or no in comments and write book suggestion that you want π
Hc verma Thermodynamics series will be started . I will post solutions of all the questions. Don't do too much calculations ,use calculator, concepts are important .
Sorry guys, I will be deleting this channel. All the HC verma solutions are already present in meritanation website as well as other places on internet and you tube. I don't think it's productive to start a channel from scratch when the demand itself is scarce
