🔹Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)s said, "The worst of all mankind is the double-faced one, who comes to some people with one face and to others, with another face."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ ‏ "‏ إِنْ شَرَّ النَّاسِ ذُو الْوَجْهَيْنِ، الَّذِي يَأْتِي هَؤُلاَءِ بِوَجْهٍ وَهَؤُلاَءِ بِوَجْهٍ ‏"‌‏.‏

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah رحمه الله was asked which is better, First ten days of Dhul Hijja or the last ten days of Ramadan, He replied: First ten days of Dhul Hijja is better than the last ten days of Ramadan, and the last ten nights of Ramadan is better than the first ten nights of Dhul Hijjah.

وقد سئل شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية ( مجموع فتاوى ابن تيمية، 25/154 ) عن عشر ذي الحجة والعشر الأواخر من رمضان، أيهما أفضل؟ فأجاب: أيام عشر ذي الحجة أفضل من أيام العشر من رمضان، والليالي العشر الأواخر من رمضان أفضل من ليالي عشر ذي الحجة.

The body will never benefit by its freedom as long as the heart is held captive by evil desires.

لن ينتفع البدن بحرّيته إذا كان القلب أسيراً للهوى

Keep trying hard:

Some righteous people said: “I struggled for one year to observe the prayers, then I enjoyed performing them for twenty years so much so that when I start the prayer, I become grieved that (it will end and) I must leave it!.”

Indeed, it is We Who created humankind and fully know what their souls whisper to them, and We are closer to them than their jugular vein.

[Sūrah Q̈āf, Verse 16]

I am afraid if Allah says about any of my sins: Go! I do not forgive you, so what will become of me?

If you want to test your heart, inspect it and test it out when the Qur’an is being recited – is it heavy upon your heart or not? Test your heart out during worship. Test your heart out when you see the salihin. Test your heart out when you are making your adhkar during the morning hours. Test your heart out when you stand up to pray – do you love to pray? Or is it heavy upon you? If it is heavy upon you, and if worship is heavy upon you, then ask Allah to remove the hardness from your heart and replace it with softness, because this is proof that the jahiliyyah is still entrenched in your heart and soul.

I don't know what complaints I have been subjected!

The purer the heart, the more sinful it became.
