These verticals have achieved sufficient maturity and will now serve the ecosystem as independent companies.

NEAR One (Pagoda) will oversee protocol development for the NEAR Protocol, supporting a wide range of activities in the NEAR ecosystem that require a performant and scalable blockchain

Chain Abstraction Spinout (Pagoda & Proximity Labs) will continue developing the technology powering Chain Signatures to make the Chain Abstraction vision a reality.

These transitions mean that Pagoda will be winding down and funding for other ecosystem services provided by Pagoda will be distributed via an RFP process run by the Infrastructure Committee.
