This is an update to the existing feature set. Now you can search by EU Cabinet commissioner, portfolio and organization and see any relevant information plotted in a Sankey diagram, a bubble chart timeline and a table with all data.
You can filter through all information available.
In the table view, below the Sankey and the bubble chart timeline, you can click on the transparency registry ID link and you will navigate to the EU file where the organization is registered.
There is a trove of data to explore.
This feature must be optimized - searching EU cabinets is still slow (I am going to index the database soon) and the filter is not fine-tuned, but it works reasonably well. As always, do your checks before relying fully on the information provided.

I implemented a news search service offered by the amazing GDELT Project (check it out here, https://www.gdeltproject.org/).
The news can be searched as usual, using the filters to limit results. There is also a visualization of the volume of news and of the tone. Hovering on the charts shows clickable articles that are used to draw the charts.
Clicking on an article opens a new tab and takes you to the source.
This content is offered for free, forever, as far as I'm concerned.

Hoy he perfeccionado la búsqueda del database de códigos LEI, corrigiendo el mapping de determinadas propiedades y añadiendo la posibilidad de descargar un informe en PDF.
Es la primera versión del informe y es básico, pero lo enriqueceré, tanto desde el punto de vista estético como del de las funcionalidades.
Qué es el código LEI? Es un código que se utiliza para validar la identidad de empresas, nacionales o internacionales, que actúan en el ámbito financiero o toman parte en transacciones internacionales.
Lo interesante es que ofrece la posibilidad de conocer accionistas y filiales de un grupo (siempre y cuando consoliden o tengan un código LEI), estén donde estén.
Este código tendrá más importancia en el futuro, así que pongo a disposición la posibilidad de buscar empresas en la aplicación.
El informe PDF tiene un sello de tiempo que marca el momento de la descarga del informe, así como la fuente de la información, como siempre.
El servicio es gratuito y no requiere login ni nada. 😎
