PLEASE SHARE Very sad to inform that Great I N A warrior Poswuyi Swuro passed away at 4 . 30 pm Yesterday evening in Nagaland he was 106 years old.
It was he who guided Netaji and I N A troops to the front line when I N A conqured Imphal and Kohima, he met Netaji when I N A troops entered Nagaland with 10 minutes of conversation with Netaji he joined I N A.
Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose with his INA forces came to Ruzazho village in Nagaland in April 1944. INA camps were then set up here for war against British; Netaji appointed Shri Poswuyi Swuro as the first administrator of the Azad Hind Govt.
He died on the day when INA hoisted Indian flag at Moirang on 14th April, 1944(81 years ago) defeating British troops during second World War.
It is the day celebrated every year as Moirang Diwas
