On Tuesday, the Moroccan National Olympic Committee announced a list of 60 athletes who will represent the Kingdom in the 2024 Paris Olympics, where they will participate in 19 sports to defend the national colors.

The committee said in a statement that the sports in which Morocco will participate include athletics, football, boxing, rowing, beach volleyball, cycling, golf, judo, wrestling, swimming, and equestrianism.

Morocco is betting on a number of its champions to achieve distinguished results, most notably Sofiane El Bakkali, who won the gold medal in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the previous Olympics, and Fatima Zahraa Kirdadi, who became the first Moroccan and Arab woman to win a bronze medal in the marathon race at the World Championships in Budapest. .
