The Russian army was able to control the town of Progress in Donetsk Province, as part of a series of successes achieved by the Russians in the region in recent days.

Reports indicated that the Russian army is now controlling “by fire” the main road linking Konstantinivka and Ugladar, which is tightening the noose on the Ukrainian forces and bringing the Russian army closer to full control of the highway.

In addition to Progress, the Russian army was able to control the town of Ivanodarevka, and it became less than 8 kilometers from the city of Seversk.
