French star Karim Benzema announced that he will attend the match between Algeria and Guinea in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held next Thursday.

Benzema, the Saudi Al-Ittihad club striker, explained that he is on a tourist tour in his home country, Algeria, taking advantage of his summer vacation.

Benzema, who was born in the French city of Lyon, decided to visit Algeria for the first time in his life, where he would begin his journey, in which he traveled by private plane, by visiting the city of Bejaia, the birthplace of his mother, before passing through the state of Tiaret, the birthplace of his father.
