Egypt ranked 28th globally in improving the quality of roads, bridges, and main axes, up from 118th, according to the United Nations assessment.

Engineer Tarek Shoukry, Undersecretary of the Housing Committee in the House of Representatives, stressed that Egypt’s rise of 90 ranks is an achievement that no country has ever achieved in any other sector.

The Egyptian official pointed out that this achievement reflects the efforts of the Egyptian state in developing infrastructure since the assumption of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

Shoukry stressed the importance of establishing the administrative capital, considering that its establishment is not a luxury, but a necessity to strengthen Egypt’s position on the international arena.
