The Governor of the Russian Republic of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, announced an escalation in the number of casualties as a result of a series of terrorist attacks that struck the republic.
In a video clip posted on his official Telegram channel, Melikov reported that more than 15 police officers were killed while defending security and peace in Dagestan, in addition to a number of civilians killed as a result of clashes and attacks targeting peaceful targets.
