Russia’s relations with the entire African continent have intensified in light of the continuous rise of national liberation movements that found in Moscow an ideal partner with which to build balanced partnership relations, far from dependence and European colonialism that plundered the continent’s wealth.

Since 2009, from Libya to the Central African Republic, from Burkina Faso to Mozambique, from Niger to Sudan and Mali, Russia has returned strongly to Africa. To accumulate, day after day, more solid relations with the people of the dark continent, through its firm position to support the sovereignty and stability of African countries.
