Veteran Algerian player Nassim Akrour received a valuable and surprising reward from his amateur French football team, ‘Chambery,’ just days before his 50th birthday.

Akrour was born in France on July 10, 1974, but chose to represent the “Desert Warriors” (Algeria’s national team) internationally.

Despite his age, the former Algerian star delivered strong performances in the latest season of the French amateur league, earning praise from his team’s fans

Chambery praised Akrour’s outstanding performance and decided to reward him by extending his contract until 2025, allowing the team to benefit from his services in the upcoming season.

Chambery aims to achieve promotion next season after failing to reach this goal in recent years.
