Morocco’s national futsal team qualified for the semi-finals of the African Cup after beating Ghana by eight goals to three in the second round of Group A.

From the very first moments, Morocco showed control of the match, scoring five goals in the first half through Sofiane El Merar (two goals), Sofiane El Shaaraoui (two goals) and Youssef Jawad (one goal), while Ghana managed to score three goals during the same half.

Morocco, winners of the African Championship in the last two editions, continued to dominate the game in the second half, and managed to get a penalty, which Bilal Bakkali converted into a goal, to make it 6-3.

Khaled Bouzid added Morocco’s seventh goal against Ghana, followed by Youssef Jawad to score the eighth goal.

With this result, Morocco raised its score to 6 points to lead Group A, which includes Angola, Ghana, and Zambia.
