Canyons, arches, snow-white wastelands - not only America was awarded by nature with exceptional exterior. The Kazakhstan's Mangistau can easily compete for epic views with US parks. 🌄

Here you can find yourself in the Tiramisu Valley. The striped valley is reminiscent of the famous dessert, Arizona's The Wave Canyon and the Rainbow Mountains of Peru. Here is the landscape! 🤩

Завершились две наши майские экспедиции в Мангистау - природный археологический заповедник.
Наши международные команды одна за другой на неделю переносились на миллионы лет в прошлое в места, где бушевал океан Тетис.

Мы бродили по пустынным пейзажам, исследовали каньоны, не уступающие по красоте американским, находили окаменелые останки и следы древних животных, удивлялись загадочным созданиям природы - самым большим природным шарам и упавшей земле, над происхождением которых до сих пор гадают ученые, ночевали под звездным небом и даже в местной мечети и ужинали под убаюкивающие звуки домры под открытым небом 🌄

Мангистау - удивительный край, еще не изъезженный туристами, где на протяжении многих километров в степи встретишь пару проезжающих машин, но все больше - одногорбых и двугорбых верблюдов и мирно пасущихся лошадей.

Our two May expeditions to Mangystau, a natural archaeological reserve, have ended.
Our international teams traveled back into the past millions of years ago to places where the Tethys Ocean raged.

We wandered through desert landscapes, explored canyons that are not inferior to the beauties of USA canyons, found fossils and traces of ancient animals, marveled at the mysterious creatures of nature - the largest natural balls and fallen earth, over the origin of which scientists are still guessing, spent the night under the starry sky and even in the local mosque and dined under the lulling sounds of domra under the open sky 🌄

Mangystau is an amazing region not thronged by tourists so far, where for many kilometers in the steppe you will meet a couple of passing cars, but more and more one-humped and two-humped camels and peacefully grazing horses.
