🇮🇳 ФЕСТИВАЛЬ МЬЁКО У АПАТАНИ В ИНДИЙСКОМ ТИБЕТЕ 🐗

Мы в долине Зиро, населенной земледельцами апатани, обладателями уникальной культуры.
Женщины апатани практиковали ношение ротанговый вставок в крылья носа, что считалось важным стандартом красоты и способом самоидентификации племени. Последние «пробки» были вставлены девочкам в 1970-е годы. С тех пор, старушки апатани остаются последними продолжателями этой традиции.
В марте-апреле в Северо-Восточной Индии проходит целая череда фестивалей плодородия и весны. Народы верят, что хорошее празднование обязательно поможет достичь благосостояния племени в грядущем году и собрать хороший урожай.
Одним из фестивалей, которые мы посетили, был фестиваль Мьёко у апатани. Будучи язычниками, апатани приносят в жертву десятки свиней и других ритуальных животных. Шаман читает молитвы и готовит свиней для забоя. Специально отведённое лицо в племени осуществляет обход деревни от дома к дому с корзиной в руках, в которую он складывает сердца забитых свиней. Апатани верят, что сердце нужно вырвать у живой свиньи, тогда это принесёт плодородие и благосостояние семье, совершившей жертвоприношение.

We are in the Ziro Valley now, this area is inhabited by Apatani farmers, owners of a unique culture.
Apatani women practiced wearing rattan plugs in the wings of their noses, which was considered an important beauty standard and a way for the tribe to self-identify. The last "plugs" were inserted to girls in the 1970s. Since then, Apatani old ladies are the last survivors of this tradition.
In March and April in Northeast India there is a great variety of fertility and spring festivals. The people believe that a good celebration absolutely helps to achieve tribal prosperity in the coming year.
One of the festivals we were able to visit was the Apatani's Myoko Festival. As pagans, the Apatani sacrifice dozens of pigs and other ritual animals. A shaman reads prayers and prepares the pigs for slaughter. A dedicated person in the tribe walks around the village from house to house carrying a basket into which he puts the hearts of slaughtered pigs. The Apatani also believe that the heart must be ripped from a living pig, which will bring fertility and prosperity to the family who made the sacrifice.
