Друзья, привет! На связи Мзунгу из Юждага, прямо из самого высокогорного села в Европе - Куруш, расположенного на высоте 2600 метров.
Сюда не так просто забраться, но оно тысячу раз того стоит!
Куруш, некогда с населением более 2000 человек, было одним из наиболее процветающих в Советском Союзе колхозов. Одного только мелкого рогатого скота здесь содержалось 150 тысяч голов.
Население Куруша - лезгины, самобытны и традиционны, занимаются скотоводством.
Люди невероятно гостеприимны!
Нам посчастливилось погулять на самой настоящей лезгинской свадьбе!
Куруш находится высоко в горах, буквально в 4 км от границы с Азербайджаном и является самым южным поселением России🇷🇺
Здесь головокружительные пейзажи! Село окружают священная гора Шалбуздаг, отвесная 1100-метровая скала Ерыдаг и снежная шапка Базардюзю - высочайшей горы Дагестана и Азербайджана🏔

Dear friends! Mzungu speaking from Yuzhdag, directly from the highest mountain village in Europe - Kurush, located at an altitude of 2600 meters.
It's not easy to get here, but it's worth it a thousand times!
Kurush, once with a population of over 2,000 people, was one of the most prosperous collective farms in the Soviet Union. There were 150 thousand heads of small cattle.
The population of Kurush is Lezgins, original and traditional, they are engaged in cattle breeding.
The people are incredibly welcoming!
We were lucky enough to take a walk at a real Lezghin wedding!
Kurush is located high in the mountains, nearly 4 km from the Azerbaijan border and is the southernmost settlement in Russia🇷🇺
Here are dizzying landscapes! The village is surrounded by the sacred mountain Shalbuzdag, the steep 1100-meter cliff Yerydag and the snow cap of Bazarduzu - the highest mountain in Dagestan and Azerbaijan🏔
We will definitely return here as part of the "Another Dagestan" expedition. Follow the announcements!

I got the opportunity to take two more adventurers on our fiery expedition to Yuzhdag! It turned out that that we can take more people🔥
The main highlights of the program:
🐎 we will go on horseback along the most beautiful valley of the Artsalinekh river and reach the Pabaku pyramid (those who wish can ascent the 4,000-meter mountain under the guidance of my friend Rashid Gadzhiyasov, the first and the only Everest climber);

В среду мы в компании первого дагестанского восходителя на Эверест Рашида Гаджиясулова совершили восхождение на четырехтысячник Пабаку! На вершину взошли все члены команды, кто стартовал из штурмового лагеря: Дмитрий Ложников, Оксана Кононенко, Олег Сухарев, Наталья Барщевская, Андрей Шульга, Михаил Голощапов, Юлия Летникова, в сопровождении Рашида Гаджиясулова, Махача Абасова, Алексея Кольбова и наших гидов Иляса и Арсена 👏👏👏
Ночь перед этим выдалась непростая, был сильный ливень и штормовой ветер. Спать в палатках в штурмовом лагере было совсем непросто. Погода устроила нам настоящее испытание. А на вершине горы выпал снег.
Подъем на вершину от штурмового лагеря занял менее 5 часов, 1100 метров по вертикали. Уклон местами был довольно-таки сильный, более 45 градусов, и идти приходилось очень аккуратно.
Уже в 11 утра на вершине наша команда отпраздновала успешное восхождение шампанским🥂
Ну а впереди нас ждёт огненный Ерыдаг⛰🔥

On Wednesday, we, in the company of the first Dagestan climber to Mount Everest, Rashid Gadzhiyasulov, ascended the four-thousands mountain Pabaku! All team members who started from the assault camp climbed to the top: Dmitry Lozhnikov, Oksana Kononenko, Oleg Sukharev, Natalia Barshchevskaya, Andrey Shulga, Mikhail Goloshchapov, Yulia Letnikova, accompanied by Rashid Gadzhiyasulov, Makhach Abasov, Alexey Kolbov and our guides Ilyas and Arsen 👏👏👏
The night before turned out to be difficult, there was a heavy downpour and a stormy wind. Sleeping in tents in the assault camp was not easy at all.
The weather gave us a real test. And snow fell on the top of the mountain.
The ascent to the summit from the assault camp took less than 5 hours, 1100 vertical meters. The slope was quite strong in some places, more than 45 degrees, and we had to walk very carefully.
Already at 11 am on the summit, our team celebrated the successful ascent with champagne🥂
Well, ahead of us is the fiery Erydag⛰🔥

🇷🇺ДАГЕСТАНСКИЙ МАРС⛰
Марсианские пейзажи желто-красных высокогорных пустынь, словно сошедшие с полотен Сальвадора Дали; чистейшие ручьи, вкус воды в которых превзойдет знаменитый Evian; стада диких краснокнижных туров, бегущих по краю обрыва и ускользающих в пропасть — туда, где далеко внизу будто в воздухе висит самое высокогорное село Куруш, на горизонте зияет готическая вершина Шалбуздага, а километровая бездна выстлана мягкими и густыми облаками! Облака под нами, как сладкая вата! От этой красоты хочется кричать!
Наша команда стоит на вершине горы Ерыдаг — сюрреалистичной, дикой и умопомрачительной, с отвесной стеной 1100 метров. Мы стоим одной ногой в России, а второй в Азербайджане. Фотографируем друг друга, обнимаемся и поздравляем с восхождением…
Мы были там!

Martian landscapes of yellow-red high-mountainous deserts, as if it descended from the paintings of Salvador Dali; the purest water in streams, the taste of which surpasses the famous Evian; herds of wild Red Book aurochs, running along the edge of the cliff and escaping into the abyss - to the place where the highest mountain village Kurush soaring far below, as if in the air, the Gothic peak of Shalbuzdag gapes on the horizon, and the kilometer-long abyss is lined with soft and thick clouds! The clouds below us, like cotton candy! This beauty makes me want to scream!
Our team stands on the top of Mount Yerydag - surreal, wild and breathtaking, with a sheer wall of 1100 meters. We stand with one foot in Russia and the other in Azerbaijan. We take pictures of each other, hug and congratulate on the ascent...
