Emergency Maintenance

We are performing emergency maintenance on a select number of caching servers until further notice in order to address an issue where corrupt cached content is being served. During this time, the following content may be slower than usual to download in all regions (worldwide) while all cached content is revalidated:

All other content will continue to be available and we'll provide updates as necessary. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding.

Scheduled Maintenance

Download performance issues on certain Redump sets

We have received reports regarding slow download performance affecting the following content:
Redump set "Microsoft - Xbox 360"
Redump sets "Nintendo"
Redump set "Sony - PlayStation 2"

An additional load balancer has been deployed to alleviate the issue and download speeds for the affected content should be back to normal. This incident has been resolved.

Network Performance Issues

We are investigating issues with network performance, affecting the following content:
Redump set "Microsoft - Xbox"
No-Intro sets "Nintendo"
No-Intro sets "Sony"

We are working to mitigate the problem and will provide updates as necessary. Thank you for understanding.

Update - We are waiting for a hardware replacement.

Update - The affected hardware has been replaced and download speeds for the affected content should be back to normal. This incident has been resolved.

Increased HTTP 502 errors on Redump set "Sony - PlayStation 2"

Due to a major hardware failure affecting multiple storage servers, users experienced increased HTTP 502 errors when downloading the following content:
Redump set "Sony - PlayStation 2"

We have switched to backup storage servers while the issue is being investigated and download speeds will be slower than usual as a result. This issue does not affect cached content. All other content is unaffected and we will provide updates as necessary.

Update - The faulty hardware has been identified and replaced and the affected storage servers are back online. Download speeds for the affected content should be back to normal. This incident has been resolved.

High load on certain Redump sets

Due to unexpected high demand, some users may have experienced slower download speeds than usual throughout the day with the following content:
Redump set "Microsoft - Xbox 360"
Redump set "Nintendo - GameCube - NKit RVZ [zstd-19-128k]"
Redump set "Nintendo - Wii - NKit RVZ [zstd-19-128k]"
Redump set "Nintendo - Wii U - WUX"

All other content is unaffected. We have deployed additional network capacity in order to relieve congestion and will continue monitoring the situation. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Update - Download speeds have returned to normal. This incident has been resolved.

Increased error rates on website

Users may have experienced intermittent errors throughout the day when attempting to access the website and download content due to an overloaded web server. A fix has been implemented and the website should now load much faster than before and without errors. This incident has been resolved.

Network Connectivity Issues

We are investigating issues with network connectivity causing the website to load extremely slowly. More information to come.

Download Issues

Due to a hardware fault, some users may have experienced issues downloading the following content:
Redump set "Sony - PlayStation 3"
Certain No-Intro sets
Certain Redump sets

The issue has been mitigated and the affected content continues to be available but in a degraded state (slower download speeds) until the hardware is replaced. All other content is unaffected and we will provide updates as necessary. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Information about the closure of Myrient

Hello everyone,

I have decided to shut down Myrient on 31 March 2026. Until then, the site will continue to remain available in its current state. Please download any content you find important, as you have around one month to do so.

There are several reasons for the closure:
- Insufficient funding
As traffic continued to increase last year, the amount of funding from donations remained the same. I have been paying more than $6000 out of pocket every month in order to cover the difference which is not sustainable.

- Paywalled download managers
In the past several months, many specialized download managers were created that completely bypassed the site, donation messages, and download protections. Some of these download managers locked certain features behind a paywall that required users to pay in order to gain access. The use of Myrient for commercial, for-profit purposes has always been strictly forbidden. Such egregious and abusive usage of the site cannot be tolerated anymore.

- Rising RAM, SSD, and HDD prices
Since last September, RAM, SSD, and HDD prices have surged dramatically and continue to rise due to the ongoing extreme demand for AI datacenters. This has caused Myrient's hosting expenses to go up as well. Necessary upgrades to the storage and caching infrastructure only exacerbated the problem. With a large number of servers and the aforementioned existing monthly deficit in excess of $6000 out of pocket, there is no way to pay for the increased hosting and hardware upgrade costs.

There are still many other smaller reasons, I could go on and on about them, but nobody would want to read it.

In short, I can no longer afford to run the site.

Myrient is no longer accepting new uploads as of 26 February 2026.

Information about donations
All donations received after 31 March 2026 will go towards hShop's monthly hosting costs.
