[External - Shadz Learning Centre: Tasawwuf 101 Series]

Assalamu'alaikum wr wb,

Synopsis
In this first of two talks of “Tasawwuf 101”, Ustaz Sameer will look at defining Tasawwuf, specifically explaining its origin, historical context and benefits it offers to Muslims who engage with it. This naturally leads to a discussion of the common misconceptions of Tasawwuf and criticisms levelled against those who view Tasawwuf as an established science within Islam. In encouraging participants to consider taking on Tasawwuf as part of their lives, Ustaz Sameer will delve into the foundational principles of it, laying the groundwork for a subsequent discussion on its core practices.
