PaulCamper GmbH is looking for a Manual QA, who is responsible and able to learn quickly under supervision.
ABOUT TEAM:
We are a big team of passionate travellers. We adore everything that is related to camping and want to share the best experience with our customers!
The biggest part of the team is based in Germany and works in our nice office in Berlin.
You will be a part of our small Agile tech team Tech team - who works remotely from Ukraine, Belarus, Russia and Germany.
REQUIRED SKILLS
*1+ year of proven hands-on QA experience
*Strong computer background, attention to details, persistence, “test to break” attitude
*Deep understanding of testing processes, methodologies
*Knowledge of bug-tracking systems (Jira)
*Ability to create and update bug reports
*Ability to create, update and execute test-cases, check-lists based on business requirements
*Ability to investigate and solve problems
*Analytical thinking
*Ability to work with minimal guidance
*Strong communication skills, team working
*Good both written and spoken English — other languages are a plus
WOULD BE A PLUS
*Written and spoken German

YOUR MISSION
*Evaluate and test new or modified products and applications, to verify that they function according to user requirements and to established guidelines.
*Create, update and execute test cases.
*Work proactively in coordination with the development team for the troubleshooting and resolving of issues in a timely manner.
*Demonstrate flexibility and attention to detail, working in a collaborative team environment using emerging technologies and modern software development practices
*Participate in elaboration and design sessions to understand and refine requirements to be implemented.
*Provide constructive and honest feedback during code reviews and sprint retrospectives.
