Position: Test Engineer - Quality Control
Company: Mendix, Rotterdam
Salary: 50-70K EUR/year
Relocation support
You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by:
* Joining the Product Testing Team that is responsible for assisting other R&D teams with quality control activities
* Help automate quality controls and policies through our product testing process and procedures together with the R&D tech leads
* Collaborating with multi-functional test engineers to inform the Research and Development Department about the quality attributes with respect to the security risks, vulnerabilities and compliance issues identified in the underlying codebase of the products.
* Plan, design and automate scripts to report about code smells, coverage vulnerabilities, bugs, security, licensing and operational risks associated with the codebase of our products (web, desktop, mobile & Mendix applications)
You’re the innovator we need if you have:
* Use your technical skills with the help of static code analysis tools for different programming languages like Java, Scala, Typescript, C#, Python etc. to minimize component quality risks.
* Use automation tools like SonarQube, Snyk, VeraCode, QC/ALM etc.
* Use your experience with executing quality control activities
* Use automation tools such as Jenkins for example
* Advocate for risk discovery and mitigation
* Be persistently curious
