The High Court has declared President William Ruto's taskforce on Health Human Resources unconstitutional. The court ruled that the taskforce duplicated the mandate of the Kenya Health Human Resource Advisory Council (KHHRAC), which was established under the Health Act of 2017.
Justice Bahati Mwamuye directed the Ministry of Health to fully operationalize the KHHRAC within 30 days.
