TAJ MAHAL is the embodiment of tragic poetry celebrated in marble to immortalise love. The word Taj means crown, and Mahal stands for palace. However, the sense is deeper than just literal translation. Mahal is the last name of Mumtaz Mahal, the wife of the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan. The legend tells us that the ruler was so in love with Mumtaz Mahal that he promised her to build the great palace in her name. After learning about the death of his wife, Shah Jahan’s hair turned white in a couple of months. The sorrowful Emperor kept his promise, and after several decades on the bank of the Yamuna there was opulent Taj Mahal. Now we see this palace sparkling in the moonlight and carrying the essence of love even to the stars.
Taj Mahal officially became one of the UNESCO masterpieces in 1983, and the Organisation helps to maintain its state pressured by the amount of visitors.

The right answer to the poll is PHILIPPINES
The Philippines is an archipelagic country of formidable volcanoes and hospitable people. It is truly not by chance that Manila bears the mane of the Pearl of the Orient, as this land extends among the waters of the Pacific Ocean and the South China Sea. That long underground river is called the Puerto Princesa Subterranean River, which, through the cave system, flows directly to the sea.
The Philippines' flag also has the interesting feature of being flipped depending on the current state of the country. The upside-down position of the flag means war, but if the red side is at the bottom, it indicates peaceful times for the nation.

The second-largest city of Uzbekistan is unparalleled in its grandeur. Samarkand is one of the centres where human civilisation was born. Alongside Alexandria, Athens, Rome, and others, on the future territory of Samarkand, a human lived several centuries ago before the Common Era. As time quickened, one day all great yarns of trade led to Samarkand’s land bringing all marbles of Indian, Chinese, and Western goods. Like rivers, trading routes were saturating the city, which flourished in its beauty and culture.
Samarkand may be divided into three historical parts. The most ancient side is located in the north-east, where the city of Afrosiab was founded in the 7th century BC. The south is the embodiment of mediaeval times with typical residential housing and mosques, while the west side depicts the European style built in the 19th and 20th centuries.

One of the biggest towns of the country, Dubrovnik, serves as a host to such a famed fantasy show as Game of Thrones. King’s Landing, Qarth, Minceta Tower, and other locations in the series were filmed in picturesque Croatia. Probably, THIS COUNTRY possesses some amulet features as its land guards about 100,000 archaeological and historical sites. Even though the territory is not vast, archaeologists continue to explore this paradise of secrets. Wandering among the labyrinth of these attractions, you may run into temples and ancient tombs, cliffs, and desert landscapes. One of them is known as the Valley of the Moon, not only because of its ethereal calmness. This valley serves as a gateway to the sumptuous views of space.
Jordan’s one of the most prominent temples bears the name of Petra. Before the Common Era, it served as the empire’s capital, nourishing the land of the modern country. However, shielded by the mountains and deserts, for many centuries Petra had been the Lost City. The stealth veil was finally removed only in the 19th century.
In Jordan, you can take a peek not only at the ancient times of humanity but also at the echoes of thousands of light years. Wadi Rum, or the Valley of the Moon, is a desert landscape almost untouched by a human, and from this point there is a view to contemplate the cover of the infinite stars.
