And donβt worry - no one will be able to distribute this software without making the source code available. Iβm going to license it under the AGPLv3 with an additional term under Section 7

Xeon will actually write a server for this version π

And I should shed light on Android version - it's generally possible but not on this stage. Why? The answer is simple - an emulator requires significant refactor and optimization to work on low-end hardware.

The way I emulate is way different from what you've seen in SpookyPop emulator (actually I don't like the code quality of spooky pop emulator and I admit that was a prototype nor complete emulation)

The current state of SC RE is terrible, people are begging for free and open source software while at the same time they just want to steal someone's hard work and won't even bother to mention the original author, let alone contribute.
In this picture we can observe the full lifecycle of an open-source beggar - desperately asking for the source code right up until he found out it would be licensed under AGPLv3, the terms of which will be enforced. Suddenly, open source wasn't so appealing anymore.
In addition to that, it's funny how he treats his own audience basically like a bunch of slaves incapable of independent thought who will promptly rush over someone else's channel and do whatever he tells them.

This is actually official iPhone 5 design by Apple used in Xcode Simulator
Unfortunately, Nates couldn't just leave the situation alone and take responsibility for what he actually said. What exactly are you trying to prove me?
If you really want to prove something to me, do it through your work. Just write the emulator you're so obsessed with - and then we can talk.
I'm not interested in continuing a pointless public argument.

So, at this point, I basically have two options for emulating SpringBoard:
1. Reimplement the approach used by Xcode's Simulator.
2. Emulate the entire launchd startup chain.

So what do you think is better

Currently I decided to try to emulate backboardd to see if it's enough since apparently we don't need to keep the whole system state running, we can just shut 'em with stubs
Well, apparently it will take a while to implement springboard. So I have a question - shall I release an emulator with ability to run certain apps or shall I wait with release until I'll manage to get springboard completely working?
