If I had to recommend just one vocabulary book for IELTS students, it would be Vocabulary for IELTS by Pauline Cullen.
Unlike many vocabulary books that simply provide endless word lists, this book teaches vocabulary in context and focuses on language that is genuinely useful for the IELTS exam.
Why do I recommend it?

β Covers common IELTS topics and themes
β Teaches collocations, word families, and natural usage
β Includes listening, reading, writing, and speaking practice

Just finished reading Ikki Eshik Orasi for the second timeβ
The first time was in 9th grade, but reading it now gave me a completely different perspective. Itβs probably the first Uzbek novel Iβve read in the last 2β3 years, and what a choice it turned out to be.
A deeply moving story about war, loss, patience, and the strength of ordinary people. The pain of mothers waiting for their sons to return from the war is portrayed in a way that stays with you long after the last page.
Some books deserve to be read more than once. This is definitely one of them.

The king called his philosophers, wise-men, counselors, and fools to him.
βCreate for me a ring such that when I am happy, and I look at the ring, I will become sad, and when I am sad, I will look upon the ring and be happy.β
The philosophers, wise-men, counselors, and fools went away for six months. When they returned, they gathered before the king and presented him with a simple silver ring adorned only with a short phrase engraved in simple characters.
The king held the ring up to his eyes to better read the inscription. He turned the ring slowly in his hands so that the characters appeared one by one. He considered each in turn until, at long last, he had read the full length of the ring.
