1. UN Decade on Biodiversity - 2011-20.
2. The theme for the year 2020 is “Our solutions are in nature”.
3. 22nd March: World Water Day
4. 22nd April: Earth Day
5. 22nd May : World Biodiversity Day
6. Earth Hour : 28th March, 2020. It encourages people to switch off the lights from 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm as per their local time.
