Enea Bastianini and Jorge Martin repeatedly came together in a scrap during the sprint race at the Solidarity Barcelona MotoGP.

Bastianini finished second and Martin third, after a last-gasp overtake, behind winner Pecco Bagnaia, setting up a Sunday title-decider.

Martin has a 19-point leading ahead of the grand prix after surviving his tangle with Bastianini.

Nico Hulkenberg has been hit with a three-place grid penalty for overtaking two cars in the pit exit road during F1 qualifying at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Hulkenberg starred in qualifying, securing fourth at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Perez and Red Bull reach agreement over 2025 split.
In announcing his exit, Perez described his time with Red Bull as "an unforgettable experience".
"I’ll always cherish the successes we achieved together. We broke records, reached remarkable milestones, and I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many incredible people along the way."
He said he had been "an honour" to race alongside Verstappen and wished the team staff "all the best for the future".
"A special thank you to the fans around the world, and especially to the Mexican fans for your unwavering support ever day. We’ll meet again soon. And remember… Never give up."

Daniel Sanders has posted the day’s best time and has won his first stage victory since stage 3 of the 2023 edition. ‘Chucky’ beat Ross Branch by 12’’ and title holder Ricky Brabec by 18’’.
