“Fear of Allah should be with you when you are between the people and when you are alone, when you are with your families, wives and children. Fear of Allah should be with you when you are left alone and perhaps it took control over your heart and your eyes shed tears and by that Allah prevented the Fire from it, as it is reported in the Saheeh that Prophet Muhammed, peace be upon him said 'All eyes are weeping on the Day of Judgment except three eyes: and he mentioned from amongst them, those eyes which shed tear out of fear of Allah’

“Whoever is sincere to Allah, Allah will place contentment in front of his eyes, and be satisfied with Allah, and in need of Allah, and will taste the sweetness of his dealings with Allah, and no Scholar or student of knowledge is able to rectify the people till he rectifies what is between him and Allah with sincerity, and whoever rectifies what is between him and Allah, then Allah will look at his heart and see that he only seeks His Face, and seeks what is with Him, then Allah will open for him the doors of His Mercy, and when the doors of His Mercy are opened, it will not be closed”

“Once being pleased with Allah has occurred (after a calamity befalling you) then what comes after being pleased is Important, it must be present and that is your knowledge that no one can remove your calamity except Allah, and no one can remove this weakness that you feel except Allah, The Prophet (peace be upon him) use to advise the Companions on this, he advised Baraa ibn ‘Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) If you go to bed say

‘O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You. Verily there is no refuge nor safe haven from You except with You.’

At the first moment when a person feels calamities if he wants Allah to relieve him of his worries and sorrows, he must feel from the depths of his heart that there is no one that will save him from these difficulties except Allah”
