“Once being pleased with Allah has occurred (after a calamity befalling you) then what comes after being pleased is Important, it must be present and that is your knowledge that no one can remove your calamity except Allah, and no one can remove this weakness that you feel except Allah, The Prophet (peace be upon him) use to advise the Companions on this, he advised Baraa ibn ‘Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him) If you go to bed say

‘O Allah, I submit my soul unto You, and I entrust my affair unto You, and I turn my face towards You, and I totally rely on You, in hope and fear of You. Verily there is no refuge nor safe haven from You except with You.’

At the first moment when a person feels calamities if he wants Allah to relieve him of his worries and sorrows, he must feel from the depths of his heart that there is no one that will save him from these difficulties except Allah”
