🎄 Christmas Onboard — how it really feels

No restaurants. No decorations from a store.
Just crew, a grill on deck, a suckling pig, marinated meat, beer in moderation, karaoke, laughter, and a few hours without ranks or pressure.

This is how Christmas is celebrated at sea —
quietly, honestly, and together.

We published a warm Christmas story on MLCFOOD about how crew celebrates far from home ⚓️

🎄 Olivier Salad — New Year Classic (Seafarer Version)

If you have a knife, a bowl, and patience — you can make it.

Ingredients:
• Potatoes — 500 g (boiled, diced)
• Carrots — 400 g (boiled, diced)
• Eggs — 4–5 pcs (boiled, diced)
• Pickles — 300–500 g (diced)
• Green peas — 1 can (drained)
• Boiled sausage or cooked chicken — 400 g (diced)
• Mayonnaise — to taste
• Salt, black pepper — optional

How to make:
1️⃣ Boil potatoes, carrots, and eggs. Let them cool.
2️⃣ Cut everything into small cubes (same size — important).
3️⃣ Put all ingredients into one big bowl.
4️⃣ Add green peas.
5️⃣ Add mayonnaise gradually and mix.
6️⃣ Adjust salt and pepper if needed.

Tip from the sea:
Do NOT add too much mayo at once. You can always add more, but you can’t remove it.

🎆 Best served cold.
🎆 Even better after night watch.

Happy New Year & calm seas
