In a major development, Amazon will cut around 14,000 corporate jobs as it focuses on ramping up investments in artificial intelligence while tightening costs in other areas. According to a letter sent to employees by Beth Galetti, Senior Vice President of People Experience and Technology, those affected by the layoffs will begin receiving notifications.
