✨ «اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللَّهَ يُحْيِي الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهَا قَدْ بَيَّنَّا لَكُمُ الْآيَاتِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَعْقِلُونَ»

“Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its death. We have certainly made the signs clear to you so that you may understand.”
(Surah al-Hadid, verse 17)


❇️ (130) Blessed Title: ⚜️Al-Muḥyi/ المحیی⚜️


🖋 “Al-Muḥyi” is one of the blessed titles of our Master, Hazrat Baqiyyatallah al-A'zam (may our souls be sacrificed for Him). “Muḥyi” means one who revives or brings to life, and it is also one of the Beautiful Names of Allah.

✅ In the verses of the Holy Qur'an, Hazrat Baqiyyatallah al-A'zam (may our souls be sacrificed for Him), is described as the reviver of the earth (and the reviver/ Muḥyi of hearts), and the era of His reappearance is described as the era of true life on earth.

💠 As Imam al-Baqir (peace be upon Him) said in His interpretation of verse 17 of Surah al-Hadid:

⚜️ فِی قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ «اعْلَمُوا أَنَّ اللهَ یُحْیِ الْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ مَوْتِها» یَعْنِی بِمَوْتِهَا کَفَرَ أَهْلُهَا وَ الْکَافِرُ مَیِّتٌ فَیُحْیِیهَا اللَّهُ بِالْقَائِمِ (عجل الله تعالی فرجه الشریف) فَیَعْدِلُ فِیهَا فَتُحْیَی الْأَرْضُ وَ یُحْیِی أَهْلَهَا بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِم. (1)

➖ When Allah says, “Know that Allah gives life to the earth after its death,” what is meant by the death of the earth is the disbelief (kufr) of its inhabitants. The disbeliever is as if dead. So Allah revives the earth by means of the Qa’im (may Allah hasten His reappearance); He establishes justice upon the earth, and as a result the earth is revived, and its people too are revived after disbelief.

⚪️ As stated in various supplications and Ziyarat texts:

⚜️ اَلسَّلامُ عَلی مُحْیی الْمُؤْمِنِینَ وَمُبِیرِ الْكافِرِينَ (2)
Peace be upon the reviver of the believers and the destroyer of the disbelievers.

⚜️ أَینَ مُحْیی مَعالِمِ الدِّینِ وَأَهْلِهِ (3) 
Where is the one who, by the power of Allah, will raise the banner of religion and faith?

⚜️ اَللَّهُمَّ وَصَلِّ عَلی وَلِیکَ الْمُحْیی سُنَّتَکَ الْقآئِمِ بِأَمْرِکَ (4)
O Allah, send blessings upon Your Wali (guardian) — the one who revives Your tradition and rises by Your command.

🔅السَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا زَوْجَةَ وَلِيِّ اللّٰهِ وَ خَيْرِ الْخَلْقِ بَعْدَ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ
🍃السَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ يَا أُمَّ الْحَسَنِ وَالْحُسَيْنِ سَيِّدَيْ شَبابِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ

❤️ السَّلامُ عَلَيْكِ يا فاطِمَةُ بِنْتَ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ وَرَحْمَةُ اللّٰهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ


⚜️«اَللّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلی فاطِمَة وَ اَبیها وَ بَعْلِها وَ بَنیها وَ السِرِّ الْمُسْتَوْدَعِ فیها بِعَدَدِ ما اَحَاطَ بِهِ عِلمُک»⚜️

⚜️السَّلامُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا النَّبَأُ الْعَظِيمُ الَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ مُخْتَلِفُونَ وَعَنْهُ يُسْأَلُونَ

«Peace be upon you, O the Great Tiding (al-Naba’ al-'Aẓim), about which they differ and concerning which they will be questioned.»

I am the Great Tiding (al-Naba’ al-'Aẓim).

💠 The Noble Prophet (PBUH&HF) said to Amir al-Mu’minin (PBUH):

⚜️يَا عَلِيُّ أَنْتَ اَلنَّبَأُ اَلْعَظِيمُ

O Ali! You are the Great Tiding (al-Naba’ al-Aẓim).

✳️ In a supplication narrated from Imam al-Ṣādiq (PBUH) to be recited after the prayer of the Day of Ghadir, it is stated:

⚜️ شَهِدْنَا بِمَنِّكَ وَ لُطْفِكَ بِأَنَّكَ أَنْتَ اَللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ رَبُّنَا، وَ مُحَمَّدٌ عَبْدُكَ وَ رَسُولُكَ نَبِيُّنَا وَ عَلِيٌّ أَمِيرُ اَلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ اَلْحُجَّةُ اَلْعُظْمَى وَ آيَتُكَ اَلْكُبْرَى وَ اَلنَّبَأُ اَلْعَظِيمُ اَلَّذِي هُمْ فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ.

“We bear witness—by Your Grace and Kindness—that indeed You are Allah, there is no god but You. You are our Lord. And Muḥammad is Your servant and Messenger and our Prophet. And Ali is the Commander of the Faithful, Your mighty Proof, Your grand Sign, and the very Great Tiding (al-Naba’ al-Aẓim) over which the people differ.”
