✳️ Fidḍah al-Nūbiyyah — Servant of al-Zahra (PBUH) and Interpreter of the Qur'an

Part Three

💠 In the previous section, we discussed some of the virtues of Lady Fidḍah al-Nūbiyyah, the Interpreter of the Qur’an—among them, her status as one whose supplications were answered, and her unwavering loyalty and obedience to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUTh) in all states and moments, including during captivity with the caravan of the Fāṭimiyyāt alongside Abā ʿAbdillāh al-Ḥusayn (PBUH), as a true servant of her Mistress, Lady Zaynab (PBUH).

🔸 In this section, we address another of her virtues: that She was a “Proclaimer of Hujjaj (pilgrims)” and a “Proclaimer of Wilāyah”.

⚜️ Her Virtues (2)

A Proclaimer of Wilāyah during Hajj

✍️ Lady Fidḍah (may Allah have Mercy upon her) advanced so far in her devotion to the Wilāyah of Amir al-Mu’minin Ali ibn Abi Ṭālib (PBUH) that She herself became a proclaimer of Wilāyah—addressing the pilgrims of the Sacred House during Hajj to call them toward
the inner reality and spirit of Hajj .

Lady Fidḍah would deliver eloquent sermons to the ḥujjāj (pilgrims), saying:

“O pilgrims and performers of ʿUmrah! Indeed, My Masters are the best of the chosen ones and the finest among the righteous. Their rank surpasses all ranks. Their remembrance spreads through cities. The garment of honor is adorned upon Them.”

📘 Bihār al-Anwār (Beirut edition), Vol. 43, p. 174
📘 ʿAwālim al-ʿUlūm wa al-Maʿārif, Vol. 11, p. 791

🔸 Warqah ibn ʿAbdullāh al-Azdi, who was among the pilgrims, upon hearing the words of Lady Fidḍah, requested that She recount the story of the martyrdom of her Mistress, Lady Fāṭimah al-Zahra (PBUH). Her words and manner reflected profound love for her Lady and deep understanding of the station of Prophethood and Imāmah.

🔹Regarding the Nobility of the Sacred Sanctuary and Shrine of Lady Fāṭimah al-Ma‘ṣūmah (PBUH), known as “Madinat al-Zaha”4⃣

✍🏻 Among the noble women of the Fāṭimiyyāt, the only transmitted (ma’thūr) Ziyārah that has reached us is for the Blessed Lady Fāṭimah al-Maʿṣūmah (PBUH). This Ziyārah was issued from the Sacred Presence of Imam Ali ibn Mūsa al-Riḍā (PBUH):

.

📔 Safīnat al-Biḥār, Vol. 7, p. 125

🔰 This Ziyārah is one of the comprehensive communal Ziyārahs (Ziyārāt Jāmiʿah), and it includes the following elements:

🔅 Salutation upon the Divine Prophets, beginning with Adam, the Father of Humanity, and the Ūlū al-ʿAzm.

🔅 Salutations upon the Noble Ahl al-Bayt (PBUTh)—especially upon Lady Fāṭimah al-Maʿṣūmah (PBUH)—along with mention of some of Their exalted stations.

🔅 A supplication for continuous and unwavering acquisition of maʿrifah (knowledge) of Her Sacred Presence.

🔅 Acknowledgment of the Divine Principle of Wilāyah and disavowal of the enemies of Allah, and seeking nearness to the Divine through this exclusive path.

🔅 A plea for steadfastness on the path of the Wilāyah of the Infallibles (PBUTh).

🔅 Submission to Allah, the Exalted.

🔅 Firm belief in the Sacred Sharīʿah.

🔅 Humble supplication to Allah, the Exalted.

🔅 And a request for intercession from the Majestic Threshold of Lady Fāṭimah al-Maʿṣūmah (PBUH).

🖋 One noteworthy aspect in these passages is the shift in address—from third-person to second-person—when greeting the Infallibles (PBUTh), indicating the spiritual presence of all the Infallibles at the Sanctified Threshold of Lady Fāṭimah, daughter of Mūsā al-Kāẓim (PBUT).

💠 As our Master, Imam Jaʿfar ibn Muḥammad al-Ṣādiq (PBUH) said:

📗 Bihār al-Anwār (Beirut Edition), Vol. 57, p. 217

The Majestic Sanctuary of Lady Fāṭimah al-Maʿṣūmah (PBUH) is the Sanctuary of the Family of Muḥammad (PBUTh). In other words, the radiant lights of Imāmah shine forth upon the world from Her Sun of Fāṭimī Infallibility.

📖 Surah Yasin

⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️

📃Part Two

Following what was discussed in the previous section, this part will examine “corruption (fasād)”—the result of choosing idols and deities other than Allah.

🖋 Associating partners with Allah, the Exalted, and choosing other objects of worship besides Him, leads to corruption on Earth. This has been clearly indicated in several verses of the Noble Qur’an:

“Have they taken gods from the earth who can raise the dead? If there had been in the heavens and the earth gods other than Allah, they would surely have been corrupted…”
(Surah al-Anbiyā’, Verses 21–22)

✔️ As for what occurred in the nation of the Greatest Messenger (PBUH&HF) after His martyrdom—leading to the manifestation of corruption on Earth—this took place on the Day of Saqīfah, when false gods were chosen. Imam al-Bāqir (PBUH) explained this in the tafsīr of verse 41 of Surah al-Rūm:

“Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of people have earned…”
(Surah al-Rūm, Verse 41)

Imam (PBUH) said:

“By Allah, this occurred when the Anṣār of Madinah said (in response to the Muhājirīn who had gathered in Madinah to usurp the caliphate from ʿAlī (PBUH)): ‘There shall be one leader from us and one leader from you.’”

📗 Bihār al-Anwār, Vol. 28, p. 220
📗 Tafsīr al-Qummī, p. 504

🖋 That is to say, through rebellion and opposition to the commands of Allah and His Messenger (PBUH&HF)—specifically regarding the decree of Wilayah of Imam Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (PBUH)—they brought about corruption and ruin upon the earth.

✔️ For this reason, the leaders of Saqīfah, who became the founders of shirk (polytheism) in the world, are referred to as “the most complete manifestation of the corrupters” (al-mufsidīn). As Imam Muḥammad al-Bāqir (PBUH) explained in the tafsīr of the noble verse:
And your Lord knows best who are the corrupters.”
(Surah Yūnus, Verse 40)

“They are the enemies of Muḥammad and the Family of Muḥammad after Him.”

📚 Bihār al-Anwār, Vol. 23, p. 371/ Tafsīr al-Qummī, p. 288

#Surah_Yasin
#Verse_23

“And do not cause corruption on the earth after it has been set right.”
(Surah al-Aʿrāf, Verse 56)

🖋 Corruption on earth after it has been set right, as mentioned in this noble verse, refers to abandoning the Wilāyah of Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (PBUH) after the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon Him and His Family) had established the Divine Proof upon the people by appointing Him as their guardian.

📚 Tafsīr al-Qummī, verse 219 / Bihār al-Anwār, Vol. 36, p. 148

Therefore, the rectification of the earth is through the Wilāyah of the rightful Imām, and abandoning it leads to corruption upon the earth.

“Shall We treat those who believe and do righteous deeds like those who spread corruption on earth?!”
(Surah Ṣād, Verse 28)

Imam al-Ṣādiq (PBUH), in explaining this verse, said:

“Those who believe and do righteous deeds” — refers to Amir al-Mu’minin and His companions.
“Those who spread corruption on earth” — refers to Ḥabtar and Zurayq, and their followers.

📗 Bihār al-Anwār, Vol. 35, p. 336
📗 Tafsīr al-Qummī, p. 565

✔️ Therefore, the absolute embodiment of “those who spread corruption on Earth” (al-mufsidīn fi al-arḍ) are Ḥabtar and Zurayq—names used in the narrations of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUT) to refer to the first and second accursed usurpers. And in subsequent degrees, their companions and followers who are their branches.

🖋 This is precisely why it is said that taking false gods—that is, adopting the Wilāyah of the Ṭāghūt (illegitimate authority) instead of the Wilāyah of the Greatest Divine Authority (Waliyyullāh al-Aʿẓam)—leads to corruption upon the earth. This is the inner (bāṭin) meaning of the verse:
“If there had been gods besides Allah in them (the heavens and the earth), they would have surely been corrupted.”

🔹 Although the appearance of corruption on Earth began with the killing of Hābīl, its most complete manifestation took place on the Day of ʿĀshūrāʾ.

📗 Bihār al-Anwār, Vol. 45, p. 315

Yet, the origin of all corruption upon the earth traces back to the root of all evil, meaning the one who is the absolute embodiment of a corrupter. Imam al-Ṣādiq (PBUH) said:

“Our enemy is the root of every evil. And from their branches stem every immoral and vile act.”

📗 Uṣūl al-Kāfī, Vol. 8, p. 242
📗 Taʾwīl al-Āyāt al-Ẓāhira, p. 22
✔️ This is why Sayyid al-Shuhadā’ (Imam al-Ḥusayn) (PBUH) said on the Day of ʿĀshūrāʾ:
“Although these accursed ones”—the army of the accursed Ibn Saʿd—“are carrying out My killing, in reality and in truth, it is the second accursed caliph who is the true cause of My martyrdom.”

Furthermore, Lady Zaynab (PBUH) also pointed to this reality, saying:
“My brother Ḥusayn (PBUH) was martyred on a Monday”—the Day of Saqīfah.

📗 Translation of al-Luhūf ʿalā Qatlā al-Ṭufūf, p. 160

🖋 Hence, the root of the appearance of corruption on land and sea began on the Day of Saqīfah, when the Sāmirī of this Ummah—the second accursed caliph—raised his golden calf—the first accursed caliph—and turned the people from Divine Unity (Tawḥīd) to shirk, misguidance, and deviation.

🔹 And this will continue until the Day of the Reappearance of the Hazrat Baqiyyatallah al-A’zam (Arwahuna Fidah) when He will exact vengeance upon the “Corrupters on Earth” and fill the Earth with justice and equity just as it had been filled with injustice and oppression.

📗 Mafātīḥ al-Jinān, excerpt from the Ziyārah of Imam al-Ḥujjah (May Allah Hasten His Reappearance)

🖋 The tafsīr of this noble verse continues…

✳️ Fidḍah al-Nūbiyyah — Servant of al-Zahra (PBUH) and Interpreter of the Qur'an

Part Four

💠 Among the virtues of this noble Lady—mentioned in the previous sections—were: the status of having Her supplications answered, Her constant obedience and loyalty to the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUTh), and Her role as a proclaimer of Wilāyah during the Hajj rituals.

Now, we turn to yet another of Her extraordinary miracles:

⚜️ Her Virtues (3)

Speaking the Language of Animals and Taming Them

✍️ As previously mentioned, Lady Fidḍah (May Allah have Mercy upon Her), through Her unwavering obedience, loyalty, submission, and companionship with the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUTh), was honored among the Fāṭimiyyāt and the Women of Karbalā’, and counted among the noble women of the household of Abā ʿAbdillāh al-Ḥusayn (PBUH). There, too, She remained the true servant of the Noble Lady of the Arabs—Lady Zaynab (PBUH)—and like Her Mistress, was clothed in captivity, only to ascend to the heights of spiritual nobility.

🔸 Her embrace of Divine Wilāyah and Her submission to the Waliyy of Allah brought Her to such a level that She became worthy of bearing Divine Knowledge—the vast and reality of Knowledge itself.

💠 Through Her obedience to the Waliyy of Allah, Lady Fidḍah (May Allah have Mercy upon Her) attained this sublime station where on the afternoon of ʿĀshūrāʾ, in order to safeguard and protect the blessed body of Her Master, Abā ʿAbdillāh al-Ḥusayn (PBUH), and with the permission of Her Mistress, Lady Zaynab (PBUH), She drew from Her knowledge and spoke the language of animals, communicating with a lion She had encountered previously. She tamed the lion and requested that it guard the sacred body of Sayyid al-Shuhadāʾ (PBUH) and prevent any horse from trampling upon His purified remains.
