اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلیَ فَاطِمَةَ المَعصُومَة وَ أبِیهَا الإمَام الکَاظِم وَ أخِیهَا الإمَام الرِّضَا المُرتَضَی وَ ابنَ أخِیهَا الإمَام الجَوَاد بِعَدَدِ مَا أحَاطَ بِهِ عِلمُک

✍️ The Holy Shrine of Hazrat Kowsar al-Ridha Khatoon Fatima Ma'sumah (PBUH) is the embodiment of the concept of the House of God, where the mention of the Most Beautiful Names of Allah, which signifies knowledge of His beautiful names, and the luminous knowledge of the family of Mohammad (PBUT), is elevated.


ا❁﷽❁ا

فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ ٱللَّهُ أَن تُرۡفَعَ وَيُذۡكَرَ فِيهَا ٱسۡمُهُۥ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُۥ فِيهَا بِٱلۡغُدُوِّ وَٱلۡأٓصَالِ

(This niche) is in the houses that God has declared to be highly respected and His Name be mentioned therein in glory in the morning and evening

(Surah Mubaraka Nour, V. 36)

🔰 So, the servant who seeks the knowledge and the luminous wisdom of the family of Mohammad, PBUT, quenches their thirst at the source and fountain of Wilayat and Kowsar. Achieving this noble goal is only possible through utmost respect and unwavering attachment to the Holy Shrine of the infallible and pure Household, PBUT.

💎 The sacred shrine of Hazrat Kowsar al-Ridha Fatimah Ma'suma, peace and blessings be upon her, is indeed the sanctuary and destination of those seeking the recognition of Allah, just as Imam Sadiq, peace be upon him, stated:

💠 .. يَظْهَرُ اَلْعِلْمُ بِبَلْدَةٍ يُقَالُ لَهَا قُمُّ وَ تَصِيرُ مَعْدِناً لِلْعِلْمِ وَ اَلْفَضْلِ حَتَّى لاَ يَبْقَى فِي اَلْأَرْضِ مُسْتَضْعَفٌ فِي اَلدِّينِ حَتَّى اَلْمُخَدَّرَاتُ فِي اَلْحِجَالِ وَ ذَلِكَ عِنْدَ قُرْبِ ظُهُورِ قَائِمِنَا فَيَجْعَلُ اَللَّهُ  قُمَّ وَ أَهْلَهُ قَائِمِينَ مَقَامَ اَلْحُجَّةِ وَ لَوْ لاَ ذَلِكَ لَسَاخَتِ اَلْأَرْضُ بِأَهْلِهَا وَ لَمْ يَبْقَ فِي اَلْأَرْضِ حُجَّةٌ فَيُفِيضُ اَلْعِلْمُ مِنْهُ إِلَى سَائِرِ اَلْبِلاَدِ فِي اَلْمَشْرِقِ وَ اَلْمَغْرِبِ فَيَتِمُّ حُجَّةُ اَللَّهِ عَلَى اَلْخَلْقِ حَتَّى لاَ يَبْقَى أَحَدٌ عَلَى اَلْأَرْضِ لَمْ يَبْلُغْ إِلَيْهِ اَلدِّينُ وَ اَلْعِلْمُ ..

⚜️ ...Knowledge will manifest itself in a city known as "Qom", and it will become a source of knowledge and virtue to the extent that there will be no ignorance about religion left on the face of the Earth and also new brides. This will be close to the appearance of our Qa'im (the awaited Imam), and God will establish Qom and its people as the locus of His authority. If it were not for Qom, the Earth would have swallowed its inhabitants, and there would have been no proof left on Earth. Knowledge will spread from there to all regions, in the east and the west, and God's proof will be established over all people, so that no one on Earth remains without access to knowledge and religion.

⚜️ «إِنَّ لَنَا حَرَماً وَ هُوَ بَلْدَةُ قُمَّ وَ سَتُدْفَنُ فِيهَا امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ أَوْلَادِي تُسَمَّى فَاطِمَة، فَمَنْ زَارَهَا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ»؛

«We have a sanctuary, and that is the city of Qom. Soon, in that city, there will be the sacred burial place of a lady from my progeny named Fatima. Whoever visits her, Paradise will become obligatory for them.»

❇️The sacred sanctuary of Hazrat Fatima Ma'suma (PBUH) in the divine words of Hazrat Musa al-Kadhim (PBUH) has been identified as "عشّ آل محمد (علیهم السلام)."

⚜️ «قُمُّ عُشُّ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ وَ مَأْوَى شِيعَتِهِمْ»؛

«Qom is the abode of the family of Mohammad and the sanctuary of their Shi'ah».

✍️The esteemed sanctuary of Sayyidah and the intercessor of the world, Hazrat Fatima Ma'suma, peace be upon her, is the refuge and sanctuary of every believer who holds fast to the rope of Allah. In accordance with the saying of Imam Kadhim, peace be upon him, "Qom" has gained prestige with the blessed arrival of the Lady of Knowledge, Fatimah Ma'sumah, peace be upon her, and it became a place of security for scholars and jurists. This is because the light of the knowledge of the family of Mohammad, peace be upon them, has illuminated the scholars from Her blessed sanctuary.

❇️ تِلْكَ اَلَّتِي تُسَمَّى اَلزَّهْرَاءَ بِهَا مَوْضِعُ قَدَمِ جَبْرَئِيلَ

⚜️When they asked Imam Ali (PBUH) about the safest cities and the best places during times of turmoil and the unsheathing of swords, he replied: The safest place on that day is Qom, the city from which the best people in terms of parents, grandparents, uncles, and aunts will emerge. It is the place called Zahra, and it is where the foot of Gabriel stands.

⚜️ فَأَسْلَمُ اَلْمَوَاضِعِ يَوْمَئِذٍ قَصَبَةُ قُمَّ تِلْكَ اَلْبَلْدَةُ اَلَّتِي يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا أَنْصَارُ خَيْرِ اَلنَّاسِ أَباً وَ أُمّاً وَ جَدّاً وَ جَدَّةً وَ عَمّاً وَ عَمَّةً تِلْكَ اَلَّتِي تُسَمَّى اَلزَّهْرَاءَ بِهَا مَوْضِعُ قَدَمِ جَبْرَئِيلَ ..

✳️ Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH) has left two signs for their Shia followers regarding their graves:

One is the luminous shrine of Hazrat Fatima al-Ma'sumah (PBUH) in Qom, and the other is the grave of Lady Umm al-Banin (PBUH) in Jannat al-Baqi.

✍️ Ayatollah Marashi was very eager to locate the burial place of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (PBUH). Therefore, for forty nights until the morning, he engaged in supplication, invocations, and recitation of Quranic chapters, and he made many intercessions. In a dream, He was directed:

⚜️علیکم بکریمه اهل البیت (علیهم السلام)

▫️Due to the divine wisdom, God has willed that the burial place of Hazrat Zahra (PBUH) remains hidden. Therefore, the shrine of Hazrat Fatima Ma'sumah (PBUH) is a manifestation of the hidden grave of Hazrat Zahra, the purest (PBUH).

⚜️ أَسْأَلُ اللّٰهَ أَنْ يَجْمَعَنا وِإِيَّاكُمْ فِي زُمْرَةِ جَدِّكُمْ مُحَمَّدٍ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ
وَأَنْ لَايَسْلُبَنا مَعْرِفَتَكُمْ إِنَّهُ وَلِيٌّ قَدِيرٌ،أَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَى اللّٰهِ بِحُبِّكُمْ، وَالْبَراءَةِ مِنْ أَعْدائِكُمْ ...
نَطْلُبُ بِذٰلِكَ وَجْهَكَ يَا سَيِّدِي اللّٰهُمَّ وَرِضاكَ وَالدَّارَ الْآخِرَةَ
يَا فاطِمَةُ اشْفَعِي لِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ فَإِنَّ لَكِ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ شَأْناً مِنَ الشَّأْنِ⚜️

📜 Exploring the Status of Jannat al-Baqī‘ in Hazrat Quran and Hadiths

✔️ Part Six

💠 Among the other references in the Holy Qur’an that indicate the reverence and sanctity of Baqi', is the concept of "Sha’a’ir Allah" (the symbols of God) and the command to honor them.
In this section, we explore the meaning of Sha’a’ir:

🔘 Sha’a’ir (شَعائِر) is the plural form of sha’īra (شَعيرة), which refers to signs and symbols through which, upon deep reflection, one can perceive the greatness, majesty, and sovereignty of the Almighty. As mentioned in the Noble Qur’an, the hills of Safa and Marwah are considered among the symbols (Sha’a’ir) of God. (1)
Furthermore, as stated in Majmaʿ al-Bayān, Sha’a’ir are specific and designated places that God has assigned for worship. Each such designated place becomes a symbol and site of that act of worship. (2)

✴️إِنَّ الصَّفا وَ الْمَرْوَةَ مِنْ‌ شَعائِرِ اللَّهِ‌ مَنْ حَجَّ الْبَيْتَ أَوِ اعْتَمَرَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ أَنْ يَطَّوَّفَ بِهِمَا وَمَنْ تَطَوَّعَ خَيْرًا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ شَاكِرٌ عَلِيمٌ
(Surah Baqara, V. 158)

◽️And the sign of piety in the hearts has been described as the veneration of the symbols of God (Sha’a’ir Allah).
✴️ذلِكَ وَ مَنْ يُعَظِّمْ‌ شَعائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّها مِنْ تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ
(Surah Hajj, V. 32)

🔘 “Mashā‘ir” (مَشاعِر) is the plural of “Mash‘ar” (مَشعَر) and is broader in meaning than Sha‘ā’ir, as it also refers to physical places—such as Mash‘ar al-Harām. It denotes a location where the symbols of God (Sha‘ā’ir) are observed—a place meant for the deep comprehension of the divine signs. (3)

Additionally, “Mashā‘ir al-Ḥajj” refers to the clear and manifest rites of pilgrimage (Ḥajj), which are perceivable and evident to the outward senses. (4)

✴️فَإِذا أَفَضْتُمْ مِنْ عَرَفاتٍ فَاذْكُرُوا اللَّهَ عِنْدَالْمَشْعَرِ الْحَرام وَاذْكُرُوهُ كَمَا هَدَاكُمْ وَإِنْ كُنْتُمْ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ لَمِنَ الضَّالِّينَ
(Surah Baqara, V. 198)

⚜️ Verses and Narrations Indicating the Legitimacy of Constructing Sacred Shrines:

🕌 The tradition of building sanctuaries (ḥaram-sāzī) over the graves of the Imams from the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them) as a means of honoring and venerating their pure resting places is supported by both the Qur’anic verses and prophetic narrations.

🔹 God says in the Noble Qur’an, Surah al-Ḥajj, verse 32:

✴️«ذَٰلِكَ وَمَن يُعَظِّمْ شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ فَإِنَّهَا مِن تَقْوَى الْقُلُوبِ»؛
◾️ “This is [what God has ordained], and whoever honors the symbols of God, it truly reflects the purity of their hearts.”
(Qur’an, Surah al-Ḥajj, 22:32)

🔹 In the commentary of this verse, the Imam of Baqi', Imam al-Bāqir (peace be upon him), narrates from his forefathers, from Amir al-Mu’minin (peace be upon him), the following tradition:

✳️«نحْنُ الشَّعائرُ»(5)
▫️ “We are the symbols of God.”

🔸 Likewise, Imam al-Sajjad (peace be upon him) says:

✳️«مَن أعظَمَ شَعَائِر اللّه عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ تَعظِيم الرَّسُول وَ الإمَام- من اللّه تعالى- بِإطَاعَةِ أوَامِرِهِم، وَ اتباعِهِم، وَ السَّير عَلَى سُنَّتِهِم لِتَحقِيقِ عِبَادَتِهِ مِن حَيث أمر بِه سُبحَانه وَ تَعَالَى»(6)

▫️ The greatest of God's symbols is the honoring of the Messenger and the Imam through obeying their commands and practicing their traditions, as this fulfills the worship of God—since it is by His command.

💠 Therefore, what is meant by Sha’a’ir (symbols) are the signs of God, and the most superior and complete of these divine signs are the Imams and the infallible proofs (peace be upon them).
And one of the ways to honor them is to protect and respect the belongings and graves of the Infallibles, and to make an effort to build and take care of their graves and holy shrines.

God also says in verse 2 of Surah al-Mā'idah:

✴️«يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تُحِلُّوا شَعَائِرَ اللَّهِ وَلَا الشَّهْرَ الْحَرَامَ وَلَا الْهَدْيَ وَلَا الْقَلَائِدَ وَلَا آمِّينَ الْبَيْتَ الْحَرَامَ يَبْتَغُونَ فَضْلًا مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ وَرِضْوَانًا»

O you who believe, do not violate the sanctity of God’s symbols, nor of the sacred month, nor of the animals brought for sacrifice, nor the animals with garlands [marking them for sacrifice], nor those coming to the Sacred House seeking the bounty and pleasure of their Lord.
(Qur’an, Surah al-Mā’idah, 5:2)

🔷 In the commentary of this verse, Imam Musa al-Kāzim (peace be upon him) says:

✳️ «هِيَ ثَلَاثُ حُرُمَاتٍ وَاجِبَةٍ فَمَنْ قَطَعَ مِنْهَا حُرْمَتَهُ فَقَدْ أَشْرَكَ بِاللَّهِ الْأُولَى انْتِهَاكُ حُرْمَةِ اللَّهِ فِي بَيْتِهِ الْحَرَامِ وَ الثَّانِيَةُ تَعْطِيلُ الْكِتَابِ وَ الْعَمَلُ بِغَيْرِهِ وَ الثَّالِثَةُ قَطِيعَةُ مَا أُوْجِبَ مِنْ فَرْضِ مَوَدَّتِنَا وَ طَاعَتِنَا» (7)

▫️ There are three sanctities, and it is obligatory to respect them. Whoever violates any of them has associated partners with God:
First, violating the sanctity of God in His Sacred House.
Second, abandoning the Book and acting according to something else.
Third, cutting off what God has made obligatory—which is love for us and obedience to us.

💠 According to the above verse, God says: Preserve the sanctity of God's symbols.
And in the narration above, obedience to the Ahl al-Bayt, love for them, and the sanctity of God in His House are all counted among the sanctities of God.
Therefore, protecting the sanctity of God’s symbols—the Kaaba and the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them)—is an obligation.

As a result, just as we must strive to preserve the sanctity of the Kaaba—both its outward structure and inner meaning—and to rebuild and maintain its structure, we must do the same for the sanctuaries of the Imams (peace be upon them), because both are among the sanctities of God.

🔹Regarding the Nobility of the Sacred Sanctuary and Shrine of Lady Fāṭimah al-Ma‘ṣūmah (PBUH), known as “Madinat al-Zaha”1️⃣

First Ḥadith


In explaining why the city of Qom was named so, the narration refers to the removal of the accursed Shayṭān’s influence from the people of Qom, who are none other than the Shia adherents of the Ahl al-Bayt (PBUTh).

💠 قالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ: لَمَّا أُسْرِيَ بِي إِلَى السَّمَاءِ حَمَلَنِي جَبْرَئِيلُ عَلَى كَتِفِهِ الْأَيْمَنِ فَنَظَرْتُ إِلَى بُقْعَةٍ بِأَرْضِ الْجَبَلِ حَمْرَاءَ أَحْسَنَ لَوْناً مِنَ الزَّعْفَرَانِ وَ أَطْيَبَ رِيحاً مِنَ الْمِسْكِ،

🔸 The Messenger of Allah (PBUH&HF) said:
“When I was taken up in ascension (Miʿrāj), Jibrāʾil carried Me on his right shoulder, and My eyes caught sight of a crimson patch of land, its color more radiant than saffron and its fragrance more delightful than musk.

💠 فَإِذَا فِيهَا شَيْخٌ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ بُرْنُسٌ، فَقُلْتُ لِجَبْرَئِيلَ: مَا هَذِهِ الْبُقْعَةُ الْحَمْرَاءُ الَّتِي هِيَ أَحْسَنُ لَوْناً مِنَ الزَّعْفَرَانِ وَ أَطْيَبُ رِيحاً مِنَ الْمِسْكِ؟

🔸 In that spot I saw an old man wearing a tall cap. I asked Jibrāʾil: ‘What is this crimson land whose color is brighter than saffron and whose scent is more fragrant than musk?’

💠قَالَ: بُقْعَةُ شِيعَتِكَ وَ شِيعَةِ وَصِيِّكَ عَلِيٍّ. فَقُلْتُ: مَنِ الشَّيْخُ صَاحِبُ الْبُرْنُسِ؟ قَالَ: إِبْلِيسُ.

🔸 Jibrāʾil replied: ‘This is the place of Your Shia — the followers of Your successor Ali (PBUH).’
I then asked: ‘And who is this old man wearing the tall cap?’
Jibrāʾil said: ‘That is Iblis (may Allah curse him).’

💠قُلْتُ: فَمَا يُرِيدُ مِنْهُمْ؟ قَالَ: يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَصُدَّهُمْ عَنْ وَلَايَةِ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَ يَدْعُوَهُمْ إِلَى الْفِسْقِ وَ الْفُجُورِ.

🔸 I asked: ‘What does he want from these Shia?’
Jibrāʾil replied: ‘He seeks to divert them from the Wilāyah of Amir al-Mu'minin (PBUH) and invites them to sin and corruption.’

💠فَقُلْتُ: يَا جَبْرَئِيلُ! أَهْوِ بِنَا إِلَيْهِمْ فَأَهْوَى بِنَا إِلَيْهِمْ أَسْرَعَ مِنَ الْبَرْقِ الْخَاطِفِ وَ الْبَصَرِ اللَّامِعِ.

🔸 I said: ‘O Jibrāʾil! Let Us descend to them.’
We descended with a speed faster than a lightning flash and swifter than the blink of an eye.

💠فَقُلْتُ: قُمْ يَا مَلْعُونُ! فَشَارِكْ أَعْدَاءَهُمْ فِي أَمْوَالِهِمْ وَ أَوْلَادِهِمْ وَ نِسَائِهِمْ فَإِنَّ شِيعَتِي وَ شِيعَةَ عَلِيٍّ لَيْسَ لَكَ عَلَيْهِمْ سُلْطانٌ، فَسُمِّيَتْ قُمْ؛

🔸 I said to Iblis: ‘Rise (Qom), O accursed one! Get away! Participate in the wealth, children, and women of the enemies of My Shia — not in the wealth, children, and women of My Shia! For over My Shia and the Shia of Ali, you have no hand and no authority.’
And thus, this land was named “Qom” (Stand!) because of this command: “Qum, O accursed one!”
