وَ ما كانَ اللهُ‌ لِيُضِلَّ قَوْماً بَعْدَ إِذْ هَداهُمْ حَتَّى يُبَيِّنَ لَهُمْ ما يَتَّقُونَ إِنَّ اللهَ‌ بِكُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ عَليمٌ

Allah does not lead any people astray after He has guided them until He has made clear to them what they should beware of. Indeed Allah has knowledge of all things.

﴾Surah Mubaraka At-Tawbah, Verse 115﴿


4)💠 عَنِ البَزَنطِی قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ عَلَی الرِّضَا (علیه السلام) بِالْقَادِسِیَّهًْ ... فَقَالَ (علیه السلام) أَمَا عَلِمْتَ أَنَّ الْإِمَامَ الْفَرْضُ عَلَیْهِ وَ الْوَاجِبُ مِنَ اللَّهِ إِذَا خَافَ الْفَوْتَ عَلَی نَفْسِهِ أَنْ یَحْتَجَّ فِی الْإِمَامِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ بِحُجَّهًٍْ مَعْرُوفَهًٍْ مُبَیَّنَهًٍْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی یَقُولُ فِی کِتَابِهِ وَ ما کانَ اللهُ لِیُضِلَّ قَوْماً بَعْدَ إِذْ هَداهُمْ حَتَّی یُبَیِّنَ لَهُمْ ما یَتَّقُونَ.

⚜️Bazanti narrates:
I met Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) at Qadisiyyah... The Imam (peace be upon him) said:

"Do you not know that it is incumbent and obligatory upon the Imam, if he becomes aware of his death, to inform the people of his successor and to complete the proof upon them?
Indeed, Allah the Almighty says in the Noble Qur’an:
َ ما کانَ اللهُ لِیُضِلَّ قَوْماً بَعْدَ إِذْ هَداهُمْ حَتَّی یُبَیِّنَ لَهُمْ ما یَتَّقُون.

'And Allah will not lead a people astray after He has guided them, until He makes clear to them what they should beware of.' (Surah al-Tawbah, 9:115)

5)💠 الصّادق (علیه السلام)- أَنَّ اللَّهَ نَصَبَ الْإِمَامَ عَلَماً لِخَلْقِهِ وَ جَعَلَهُ حُجَّهًًْ عَلَی أَهْلِ عَالَمِهِ أَلْبَسَهُ اللَّهُ تَاجَ الْوَقَارِ وَ غَشَّاهُ مِنْ نُورِ الْجَبَّارِ یُمَدُّ بِسَبَبٍ إِلَی السَّمَاءِ لَا یَنْقَطِعُ عَنْهُ مَوَادُّهُ وَ لَا یُنَالُ مَا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ تَبَارَکَ وَ تَعَالَی إِلَّا بِجِهَهًِْ أَسْبَابِ سَبِیلِهِ وَ لَا یَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ أَعْمَالَ الْعِبَادِ إِلَّا بِمَعْرِفَتِهِ فَهُوَ عَالِمٌ بِمَا یَرِدُ عَلَیْهِ مِنْ مُلْتَبِسَاتِ الْوَحْیِ وَ مُعَمَّیَاتِ السُّنَنِ وَ مُشْتَبِهَاتِ الْفِتَنِ وَ لَمْ یَکُنِ اللهُ لِیُضِلَّ قَوْماً بَعْدَ إِذْ هَداهُمْ حَتَّی یُبَیِّنَ لَهُمْ ما یَتَّقُونَ وَ تَکُونُ الْحُجَّهًُْ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَلَی الْعِبَادِ بَالِغَهًًْ.

⚜️Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) said:

"Allah has made the Imam the leader for His creation and the proof upon the people of His obedience. He has adorned him with the crown of dignity and clothed him in the light of the Almighty. He has connected him to the heavens with a cause so that divine guidance and inspirations may never be cut off from him.
There is no way to reach what lies with Allah the Almighty except through following the Imam, and the deeds of servants are not accepted without knowledge of him.

The Imam is knowledgeable of the difficulties of revelation, the intricate secrets of the Sunnah, and the ambiguities of the religion.
Allah said:
'Allah would never lead a people astray after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should beware of.'
He is the definitive proof of the Lord among the people."

✍️God's Intention of Goodness for a Servant

🖋English Translation

Know that if God intends goodness for a servant, He opens their heart to accept Islam. When He grants them this blessing, their tongue speaks truth, their heart inclines toward it, and they act upon it. When God gathers all of this for a person, their Islam reaches perfection. And if they die in such a state, they die as a true Muslim.

"The truthful ones are the Imams (peace be upon them), who are truthful in their obedience."

📜 Examining the Status of Jannat al-Baqi‘ in the Verses of the Noble Qur'an and Hadiths

✔️ Continuation of Part Four

As previously mentioned, according to narrations, the meaning of "houses" (Bayūt) refers to: Baqi‘, mosques and centers of worship and remembrance of God, the houses of the prophets, and the house of Imam Ali and Lady Fatima (peace be upon them all).

▫️ In the explanation of the noble verses 36 and 39 of Surah al-Nur:

✴️في‏ بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَ يُذْكَرَ فيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فيها بِالْغُدُوِّ وَ الْآصالِ
(Surah Nour, V. 36)

✴️رجالٌ لا تُلْهيهِمْ تِجارَةٌ وَ لا بَيْعٌ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ وَ إِقامِ الصَّلاةِ وَ إيتاءِ الزَّكاةِ يَخافُونَ يَوْماً تَتَقَلَّبُ فيهِ الْقُلُوبُ وَ الْأَبْصارُ
(Surah Nour, V. 37)


💠 In a narration from Amir al-Mu'minin, where His Highness says:

◾️جَلَّتْ عَظَمَتُهُ‏ وَ أْتُوا الْبُيُوتَ مِنْ أَبْوابِها و الْبُيُوتُ فِي هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ اللَّاتِي عَظَّمَ اللَّهُ بِنَاءَهَا بِقَوْلِهِ‏ فِي بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَ يُذْكَرَ فِيهَا اسْمُهُ‏ ثمَّ بَيَّنَ مَعْنَاهَا لِكَيْلَا يَظُنَّ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ أَنَّهَا بُيُوتٌ مَبْنِيَّةٌ فقَالَ تَعَالَى‏ رِجالٌ لا تُلْهِيهِمْ تِجارَةٌ وَ لا بَيْعٌ عَنْ ذِكْرِ اللَّهِ‏ فَمَنْ طَلَبَ الْعِلْمَ فِی هَذِهِ الْجِهَهًْ أَدْرَکَهُ ...(1)

▫️ God says: “Enter houses through their doors” — the intended meaning of "houses" here refers to those houses that God has elevated in status and declared: “Houses which God has permitted to be exalted and wherein His name is remembered.” (Surah al-Nur, 36)

After this, He clarified its meaning so that the ignorant would not think these are ordinary houses, and said: “Men whom neither commerce nor trade distracts from the remembrance of God.” (Surah al-Nur, 37) — and whoever seeks knowledge in this regard will attain it.

☑️ Therefore, the meaning of Bayūt (houses) is not about their physical structure, but rather about their noble inhabitants.

▶️ One of the meanings and deeper interpretations (bāṭin) of Bayūt is that the sacred beings of the Infallibles (peace be upon them) are themselves Qiblahs.

✴️ ..... وَ اجْعَلُوا بُيُوتَكُمْ قِبْلَةً وَ أَقيمُوا الصَّلاةَ وَ بَشِّرِ الْمُؤْمِنينَ
(Surah Yonous, V. 87)

◾️ “And arrange your houses facing each other [and centered], establish prayer, and give glad tidings to the believers [that they will ultimately succeed].”

🔘 As Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (peace be upon him) states in the interpretation of this noble verse (87): the intended meaning is the house of Amir al-Mu’minin (the Commander of the Faithful) and Lady Fatima (peace be upon her). (2)

🔘 Meaning that all of creation must perform their worship facing their house, which is the House of God (Bayt Allah).

▫️Until the servants turn their faces toward this house and its owner — who is the true manifestation of the Face of God (Wajh Allah) — they have not truly faced the Qiblah, and their worship would be invalid.

▶️ Another meaning of it is that the sacred beings of the Infallibles (peace be upon them) are a sanctuary of safety (haram amn) for the people.

✴️« وَ مَن دَخَلَه کانَ آمنا»
(Surah al-Imran, V. 97)

▫️ Whoever enters that [sanctuary] will be safe.

The true essence of the House (Bayt) is the fortified stronghold (ḥiṣn ḥaṣīn) of the secure wilayah (guardianship) of the noble masters, such that whoever enters it with permission will find themselves within the secure sanctuary of its Owner.

▫️ That sanctuary of safety, into which whoever enters will be protected from the devils of both jinn and mankind, is the House of God (Bayt Allah).

Therefore, Baqi‘ and the sacred shrine of the Infallibles (peace and blessings be upon them all), who are the true owners of the Houses (Bayūt), are in reality the House of God (Bayt Allah) and the Qiblah — the refuge and sanctuary for all of creation.

⚜️ The House of Lady Fatima al-Zahra (peace be upon her) as the True "House of God" in the Verses of the Noble Qur'an

*️⃣ One of the inner meanings (bawāṭin) of the House that is specifically attributed to God, the Exalted, is that it is the place where the Light of the heavens and the earth descended, where the Name of God ascended, and where the glorification of the Divine Essence takes place — and that House is the House of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her).

✴️ اللَّهُ نُورُ السَّماواتِ وَ الْأَرْضِ مَثَلُ نُورِهِ كَمِشْكاةٍ ..
✴️في‏ بُيُوتٍ أَذِنَ اللَّهُ أَنْ تُرْفَعَ وَ يُذْكَرَ فيهَا اسْمُهُ يُسَبِّحُ لَهُ فيها بِالْغُدُوِّ وَ الْآصالِ
(Surah Mubaraka Nour, V. 35, 36)

💠عن ابن عباس قلت:
يا رسول الله، ما البيوت؟
فقال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه و آله):
بيوت الأنبياء و أومأ بيده إلى بيت فاطمة الزهراء (صلوات الله عليها) ابنته
.

◾️ Ibn Abbas said: I asked the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), "Which houses are intended?" The Prophet replied, "The houses of the prophets," and he pointed with his hand toward the house of his daughter, Lady Fatima (peace be upon her). (3)

That House whose sanctity is immense and whose respect is obligatory — and entry into it without permission is forbidden — is the House of Lady Fatima (peace be upon her).

▪️ذلك النور في بيوت
يعني في البيوت رجال لا تلهيهم
.(4)

🔹 It is that House before whose door the first and greatest person of all creation — the Messenger of God (peace and blessings be upon him and his family) — would spread his prayer mat at night for the Night Prayer (Ṣalāt al-Layl). Every day, before going to the mosque, he would stop at its door, greet its inhabitants with peace, and recite the Verse of Purification (Āyat al-Taṭhīr) regarding them.

🔹 It is that House whose door, by the command of God, the Exalted, was the only one left open to the Mosque of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him and his family), while all other doors were closed.
This was because that House itself is the true reality of the Mosque, and "Indeed, the mosques belong to God." (5)

Therefore, according to the narrations from the Infallibles (peace be upon them), the House of the Noble Lady (peace be upon her) is the House of God (Bayt Allah) — where the Name of God ascends, where glorification (tasbīḥ) takes place, and which is the Qiblah and the true reality of the Mosque.

In the school of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), everything returns to the Mother, and ultimately concludes in the embrace of the Noble Lady (peace be upon her).

«Al-Buq‘ah al-Mubārakah» (the Blessed Sanctuary) refers to the sacred shrine of the Noble Mother (peace be upon her) — the shrine of Lady al-Ṣiddīqah al-Kubrā (the Great Truthful One), the Mother of her Father (Umm Abīhā), the Mother of Hassan and Husayn, the Mother of the Imams, the Mother of the believers — men and women — and the Mother of the prophets and the righteous (peace be upon them all), located in Madīnat al-Zahrā’ (peace be upon her).

وَمَا كَانَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ لِيَنْفِرُوا كَافَّةً ۚ فَلَوْلَا نَفَرَ مِنْ كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِنْهُمْ طَائِفَةٌ لِيَتَفَقَّهُوا فِي الدِّينِ وَلِيُنْذِرُوا قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُوا إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ


And the believers should not all go out to fight. Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may gain sound knowledge in religion, and that they may warn their folk when they return to them, so that they may be cautious.

﴾Surah Mubaraka At-Tawbah, Verse 122﴿

💠 عَن أَحمَدبنِ‌مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الرِّضَا (علیه السلام) أَنَّهُ کَتَبَ إِلَیهِ عَافَانَا اللَّهُ وَ إِیَّاکَ إِنَّمَا شِیعَتُنَا مَنْ تَابَعَنَا وَ لَمْ یُخَالِفْنَا قَالَ اللَّهُ فَسْئَلُوا أَهْلَ الذِّکْرِ إِنْ کُنْتُمْ لا تَعْلَمُونَ وَ قَالَ فَلَوْ لا نَفَرَ مِنْ کُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِنْهُمْ طائِفَةٌ لِیَتَفَقَّهُوا فِی الدِّینِ وَ لِیُنْذِرُوا قَوْمَهُمْ فَقَدْ فُرِضَتْ عَلَیْکُمُ الْمَسْأَلَهًُْ وَ الرَّدُّ إِلَیْنَا وَ لَمْ یُفْرَضْ عَلَیْنَا الْجَوَابُ.

⚜️Ahmad ibn Muhammad narrates from Imam al-Ridha (peace be upon him) that the Imam wrote to him:

"May Allah, the Exalted, grant well-being to us and to you! Verily, our Shia are those who follow us and do not oppose us. Whenever we fear, they also fear, and whenever we are in security, they are also in security. Allah, the Exalted, said: 'If you do not know, ask those who possess knowledge.' (Surah al-Anbiya, 7). And He said: «فَلَوْلاَ نَفَرَ مِن کُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ طَآئِفَةٌ لِیَتَفَقَّهُوا فِی الدِّینِ وَ لِیُنْذِرُوا قَوْمَهُمْ» 'Why does not a group from every section of them go forth, that they (who are left behind) may gain sound knowledge in religion, and that they may warn their folk?'. Thus, asking questions has been made obligatory upon you, and we are given the choice to answer; it is not obligatory upon us to answer."

✍️The Consequence of God's Lack of Willing Goodness for a Servant

إِذَا لَمْ يُرِدِ اَللَّهُ بِعَبْدٍ خَيْراً وَكَلَهُ إِلَى نَفْسِهِ وَ كَانَ صَدْرُهُ «ضَيِّقاً حَرَجاً» فَإِنْ جَرَى عَلَى لِسَانِهِ حَقٌّ لَمْ يُعْقَدْ قَلْبُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ إِذَا لَمْ يُعْقَدْ قَلْبُهُ عَلَيْهِ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ اَللَّهُ اَلْعَمَلَ بِهِ فَإِذَا اِجْتَمَعَ ذَلِكَ عَلَيْهِ حَتَّى يَمُوتَ وَ هُوَ عَلَى تِلْكَ اَلْحَالِ كَانَ عِنْدَ اَللَّهِ مِنَ اَلْمُنَافِقِينَ وَ صَارَ مَا جَرَى عَلَى لِسَانِهِ مِنَ اَلْحَقِّ اَلَّذِي لَمْ يُعْطِهِ اَللَّهُ أَنْ يُعْقَدَ قَلْبُهُ عَلَيْهِ وَ لَمْ يُعْطِهِ اَلْعَمَلَ بِهِ حُجَّةً عَلَيْهِ

✍️The Consequence of God's Lack of Willing Goodness for a Servant

🖋English Translation

If God does not intend goodness for a servant, He leaves them to themselves, and they become anxious and confused. Even if they speak the truth with their tongue, their heart will not attach to it. Since their heart is not bound to the truth, God will not grant them success in acting upon it. When this condition continues until they die, they will be considered a hypocrite before God. Their verbal acknowledgment of the truth, while God did not grant them the success to embrace it in their heart and act upon it, will become a proof against them.

📜 Exploring the Status of Jannat al-Baqī‘ in Hazrat Quran and Hadiths

✔️Part Five

🔶In this section, we will discuss another instance of "Baqiʿ" mentioned in the noble verses of the Holy Qur'an, known as "Masjid" (Mosque).

▫️The word "Masjid" appears twenty-six times in the verses of the Holy Qur'an. 🔶Regarding the literal meaning of "Masjid," Raghib says:

«المَسجِدُ مَوضِعُ الصَّلاةِ اِعتبارا بِالسُّجودِ».(1)

▫️In the Arabic language, "Masjid" is a noun of place derived from the triliteral root "sajada" (سجد). In Persian, it is used to mean a place of prayer and a location for worship. As for why the word "Masjid" is used to refer to the place of worship and prayer, it has been said: because sujūd (prostration) is the noblest and most important pillar of prayer, and through it, a person becomes closer to God more than through any other act of prayer, therefore, the noun of place was derived from this action and applied to the location of worship and prayer.(2)

◾️In Islamic legal terminology (Sharʿī terms), "Masjid" refers to a specific, dedicated place designated for prayer. As is mentioned in jurisprudential texts regarding this matter:

«اَلمُرادُ بِالمَسجِدِ اَلمَکانُ المُوقُوفُ عَلَى کافَّةِ المُسلِمینَ لِلصَّلاة».(3)

🔷A mosque is the place where one attains closeness to God, a place for ascending and drawing near to the Exalted God, and a place for purifying the soul from sins.(4)

The mosque is the House of Almighty God on earth — a place of prostration before the majesty of God the Exalted, a place to express servitude before the Lord, a place for gaining knowledge and a passageway toward attaining happiness within the mercy of the Merciful God. The mosque is a place for purifying from polytheism, for destroying falsehood, and for establishing the truth.
